yeah but my fave episode is “Santa is Covered in Styrofoam by the Third Day of Christmas in a Bluey Ripoff Advent Calendar” edit: I also like the episode called “Reindeer From My Horrific Nightmares”

I think it would be funny if Bluey pulled a Regular Show and just subtly shamed the knock-off toys, especially since preschool/child-friendly programs tend to be the target of these companies.

​@@eveleen.They get a toy of an in-Universe character, they don't like it because the colors are wrong, they go through various stages, first they complain about it, then they try to get mum & dad to get a new one (unsuccessfully), then they up painting the bootleg to look more accurate. In the end they accept that it's not the real thing, but it's not always about having the best thing amd to be thankful for what you have, learning a lesson. And as a joke they could just drop the toy and forget it's existence leaving it outside for the elements.

This is THE bluey advent calendar ever. The graphic design on the box was, & the toys were very. Overall, I think it’s one of the advent calendars you can buy for your family this holiday season.

These are basically low budget cursed Bluey items. The disrespect.😭

The pure comedy genius for a “Taco bell table from the 1980s, which is something I just so happen to own.” Its perfect and amazing (I can’t tell if it’s not satire though)

I can't imagine the horror the children experienced when they got these knock-offs, what a way to ruin their childhood. Honestly I would be terrified too and disappointed at the same time, even the parents who spent 30!!! JUST TO GET IT FOR THEM.

Ouch. I was reminded of Lazada reviews that suggested that many people fell for the scam tablets that would show up on LazFlash during sale events, which look different from the photos on the listing, and have specifications and Android versions faked to make an entry-level tablet look like a flagship tablet, not to mention the potential for baked-in malware like what Linus Tech Tips showed in a video they did about uncertified Android TV hardware. (Edit: As such, I'm sure there'd be lots of adults who don't do research and fall for counterfeit toys)

I don't think the kids will be okay after this one.

My mom fell for this scam, i have the exact same, the figures that i got are so funny to look at that everyday i'm impatient to see what monstrosities awaits me 😂😂 (it was not the fault of my mom tho, she saw it at a cheap price and she thought that it would make me happy)

I got a bluey advent calendar. It’s a book collection one, 12 story books and 12 colouring books. Absolutely love the ones I got so far. But there is definitely a novelty to the bootleg stuff.

When I see terrible knockoff toys they're usually ok if they're cheap and safe for artists to paint them properly, but these have such deep carving lines in them artists be better to make their own figures outta clay

Yknow I commented on one of your posts that showcased a questionable incarceration of Bingo. I explained that it was the same as one I got from a Bluey advent calendar I bought off eBay out of curiosity. This is not the same advent calendar. There’s like a whole network of these things, seemingly all made and distributed by the same people.

Tbh the grinch is by far the BEST bluey character in my opinion

I can't imagine what it would be like for a kid (or an adult, because, y'know, adults can like Bluey too) to get that somewhat legit looking advent calendar, and the first day, you get a kinda sketchy looking Christmas tree, but you're still a little optimistic... and then it all just goes down hill, and you're scarred for life by these horrific knock-offs. like, if I got these as a child, I honestly would be so terrified by these cheap knock-offs that I'd never ask for Bluey merch ever again, in fear that they'll all look like little plastic burn-victims. I guess there's a life-hack for parents, get awful knock-offs of your child's favorite franchise, so they'll be too scared to ask for more merchandise, lol.
