    bro already reached the enlightenment where he doesnt even care how advanced the camera technology is. at this point he's only care how can he can bring ultralight setup to travel. he pushed the weight limits of the modern equipment because he has a lot of history about his career so everyone can learn from his experience how to be a minimalist photographer but still can produce a stunning result. with the ideology like this, he will bring more people's to world of photography

    This is great because I usually find myself relying only on natural lighting exactly because lugging around supplementary lighting seems such a hassle. Thanks for helping to mitigate this problem!

  • @papsny

    @papsny

    Жыл бұрын

    It ain't a hassle if you're a professional, it's a necessity to bring lights and it is what differentiates you from an amateur. Professionals don't rely on the luck of DJ lights or good natural light.

  • @e_Dave

    @e_Dave

    Жыл бұрын

    @papsny Are you sure about that? My Grandfather's a professional photographer and is about as old-school as it gets, and he's constantly using natural light whenever he can specifically because he hates hulling around giant heavy lights. I've learned from both him AND Markus that you don't need a million dollars worth of giant equipment to be "professional." The difference between an amateur and professional is experience, which can result in better pictures on its own. If you feel like you need a bunch of accessories in order to be "professional," then you're clearly trying too hard to look cool.

    Holy crap, you’re dedicated to thoroughly covering each possibility is amazing. Thank you for putting it together to share. I was using a flash bracket to hold a double flash for a compact little one small bag kit because the stands tend to be bulkier. My compact stands weren’t quite tall enough but this has some amazing work around for every scenario between the rigid extenders, the ones that bend. Between this and the info on the light output of the AD100s, it will make for an excellent little travel light kit I can fit in a tiny bag like a tripod bag to throw in with me just in case. I’m thinking two stands, 2 or 3 AD100s and the trigger in a little 15” cylindrical bag. Appreciate the enthusiasm to discover and share!

My first video was about modifying cheap collapsing selfie tripods with with M to M 1/4-20 adapters so they would hold my LED lights and other miscellaneous gear. Photography is an expensive hobby but I try to help folks understand it doesn't have to be, and that creativity can overcome budget or other logistic hurdles. Keep doing what you do!
