Thanks! I lived in Daytona Beach 1986 to 1993. I usually went back at least once a year, but my last trip there was 2019. Don't know if I will ever return.

Nice memories study there live in houses all over from 1977 to 1982; came back to live permanently in OB from 1984 to 1993, came back last to visit in 2009 my oldest son was born in DB memories forever, nice video thanks for the memories

Hey Ken. Hope you enjoyed Daytona Beach. It’s not the same as many years past. MTV was Spring Break headquarters here in the 80s. They put a stop to that. The beach was torn up last year by 2 hurricanes. It’s a nice community that relies on race fans and bikers for a lot of revenue. Thanks.

daytona beach was the first time i step a foot in florida 2021 it was nice i plan to go back this year

Daytona is really kicking into gear , fast cars and motorcycles .Where dreams of motor racing are made from . Love watching the waves crashing along the beach AK a great place to relax read a book and swim till your hearts content.

Raced 12 miles south in Ponce Inlet. 😊

It's quite interesting to see the compact sand, and cars are allowed to drive and park directly on the beach! 😲 Main Street looks vibrant with all the shops and restaurants, and it sure was lively for the upcoming Bike Week event. 😎🏍 49:04 Wow, there's a Sloppy Joe's in Daytona Beach! ​@ActionKid It was only about 4 months ago that the beach was basically gone. In Daytona Beach Shores, the ocean was washing against the seawalls. Alot of property was taken by the ocean. It's was so great to see the water eventually began to recede. This is my 2cd home & I love this place( especially Daytona Beach Shores down to East Ponce Inlet. Cheers.

Enjoyable premiere and beautiful city , nice beach despite the cars on the beach 3:54 , pier looks more than nice 17:22 and the restaurant on it looks great 19:11 , i’ve never seen so many bikes anywhere than in Daytona Beach 25:32 ,such a colorful and cool little mall 48:07 😎Thank you for sharing this great walk A K 🙂👍!!!

Happy Saturday AK getting ready to watch your live video from earlier today just finished Daytona not the Daytona I remember it's not that far from me in Orlando but haven't been there and at least 8 years a lot of the damage you saw the collapsed sidewalk in front of the boardwalk and the stairs missing was from the last hurricane Nicole if you had gone south toward Ponce inlet and the lighthouse a lot of the high rises they forced people to leave the buildings for fear of them collapsing The the houses down there right on the beach half of them aren't there anymore so much erosion they just fell into the ocean so much damage. These people work their entire life to have a nice home right on the ocean and mother nature wipes it out in a blink of an eye I know what I was watching news coverage they had a lot of reports from the Ponce inlet area you should research it you were in New York at the time so sad about Daytona

I haven’t been to Daytona in about 30 years. Back then you didn’t have to pay to drive on the beach. Inflation! Great video!

Thanks for the video. Been coming down since 1984. Missed just a handful of times. I have to laugh with your introduction to the beach. You had said there used to be a sign going into the beach saing welcome to Daytona Beach etc. And that maybe they took it down for repairs. Ummmm, I have a feeling the hurricane took it down. Right? Good video though

I'm loving this video, this is full of motor bikes and whole lotta of them lying around this city. It's like whole museum city of them! I never known you were coming here because I heard of this seeing pictures of just Daytona beach but also knew it's home of bike riders everywhere. Loving this walking video.

main reason stupid police being too strict! Was there a couple years ago & cops made a college kid pour out all his beer he had in a cooler on the beach. Funny thing is right behind the cop was a young lady with a beer bong with her friends yelling CHUG! CHUG! Dumb cop never even looked back to see what was happening & didn't do a thing about it. GO FIGURE!!!

This would been better if it was in Miami or Fort Lauderdale for spring break or Hollywood Beach or Hallandale Beach Florida the best spring break beach.

Unfortunately, since Daytona Beach (understandably) put an end to the spring break crowd, the entire waterfront area has fallen into decline. It’s really sad to see.

Hollywood beach Florida and South beach is way more better more bars and restaurants and lounges just a amazing beaches.

I'm a FL native and I really like Daytona Beach, but I've never heard anyone call it the most famous beach in the world 😅 not even most famous in FL

Nice walk through of Daytona Beach! Haven't been over there in about 19 years. Check out the helicopters tour rides there along the beach. if you give the pilot a decent tip, he will he will tilt the chopper sideways so you can get some great photos or video of the beach! Check it out.

Hmm, interesting video. Reminds me of a beach in Texas called Port Aransas( just north of S Padre Island) where people drive on the beach. Looks almost the same.

I prefer south beach over Daytona but that's just me

We have a Joe's Crab Shack here in Chicago; a nice place.

Joe's Crab Shack is the worst chain. I went to the one by Queens Center Mall. I ordered crab cakes and they came back rancid. I tried telling the manager they were rancid and she didn't want to hear it, so I made up a lie to have her credit me for the meal by saying it was "too salty." Really turned me off from that chain.

If you REALLY want to see the most beautiful beaches in the world, and I do mean in the world, you have to go to the Gulf coast of Florida from Pensacola Beach to Destin, SanDestin, Panama City Beach, St. Petersburg, Florida. Winter time is the best time when the sand is as fine as sugar and as white as sugar. To walk on that sand is like no other in the world. I have been to beach all over the world on every inhabited continent. Trust me! The Gulf coast of Florida is the best beach in the world.

Your video is good . But it's a dangerous place.. so sad..

Actually the Ocean center does double duty as a convention center and concert hall. NXT does events in there and so does AEW, TNA, and every wrestling company but artists do do concerts inside. Honestly it’s kinda small and really doesn’t hold that many people. Orlando’s Orange County convention center is much bigger and a more controlled space that does both Megacon and IAPPA every year so crowds aren’t a problem.

I dont get why cars are allow in the beach .

I love the beach. It's so beautiful but it seems to me that driving cars on the beach detracts from the serenity. It's nice for the drivers but not so great for those wishing to relax. Bathers must feel as if they are on display!

I'd say the most famous beach in the world is, either Copacabana in Brasil, or Bondi is Australia.... Pismo beach in CA if your looking for one from America.

when you get to beach, watch out for white pointers..and im not talking about sharks haha 👌

Absolutely none of you are taking into consideration that Daytona used to be the spring break capitol of the world. Yes there are other more well known beaches today, but that’s not the point. Daytona rightfully earned that title years ago and likely wants to hold onto it even if it’s no longer true.
