Yea don't think they're gonna come walk among us again till we can live in balance with the planet again.. and gotta get rid of the violence! These humans running around hating and fighting are such an embarrassment. Maybe soon they will be able to grow up. If only folks could see how rewarding just always being spiritual and following the golden rule of "do unto others" can truly be. To see what I mean, try water fasting for a few days then begin eating some fruit and slowly ease into A plant based whole food diet of fruits veggies and nuts (the original intended diet.) No meat or animal products or processed or refined food. Your body and mind will thank you! Peace on earth to you all, and I love you🥰

They surely are one of the most beautiful creations of God, but dont say they are better than us, we are his best creation, and he died in the cross for Us not for any other creation because he loves us the most, we are created in his Image; Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? *Matthew 6:26 ESV* The father of lies is the one that makes us look ourselves as the worse thing, but we are not at the eyes of God, at least the ones who are his sons God bless!!

When I was a kid we had cows on my farm. We raised them, cared for them, gave them names, cuddles, a good life, but we got them with the intention of eating them, and when time came we used as much of them as we could, from the meat and hide to their bones. I don't think hunting is wrong, but it has to be done with the right state of mind. Hunting for sport to hang a trophy is something I'm not a great fan of, but doing it with a shamanistic/druidic state of mind is something else, even if it's done without it being a necessity. By hunting an animal you're taking something beautiful and innocent from the earth for selfish gains, and as such the bare minimum you can do is be thankful for the unwilling sacrifice and let no part go to waste. No matter what you consume you'll be hurting something or someone, it's a trait of capitalism, even the salad you eat can be grown by and cared for by someone who's miserable, you'll find misery every which way you turn. But if you can acknowledge the good and bad I think that makes you a "good person". You're not a bad person for hunting in my book, at least as long as you can appreciate what you've taken from the world and you aim to put an equal or greater amount of good back into it.

@@francisfuzzynips902 Thank you for this exhaustive reply. Yes, I'm talking about hunting for pleasure. I think this is so sadistic...I don't think the animals ever kill each other for fun like humans do. They only do it to preserve themselves; whereas humans do it to enrich themselves more and more or to derive pleasure from the sensation of being able to dominate others or to deal with drugs or...

Fun fact with Pied Butcher-birds, they have regional songs. They sing different tunes in different suburbs, so their calls vary wildly. If you imitate a call from a different region, you don't get as much response from them as when you copy their local tune.

Fun fact my brother-in-law law lived on a farm next to a river. He is a bird wisperer and someone gave him a baby Maggie. He raised and loved this beautiful bird but when it grew up flew off across the river where another farmer found it in his yard and kept it as he too loved it. My brother in law found out and went to get his bird back but the farmer would not part with it. It caused bad feelings between them for years.

This may not be true for all species, I only have reference to the songbirds in my land, but the individual bird is also really important. For example, no two blackbirds that I have listened to have sounded the same, and each bird has a repertory (with some variations), that is probably tied to it's experience as well as other factors like exposure and temperament. One of, if not THE most profound life experience I've had, was when I was a young man walking through a Nordic forest in the dead of night at high summer. The forest was completely silent when suddenly a blackbird started singing from a tree just up the path. I sat down under that tree and listened intently for maybe 20-30 minutes, and during that time it didn't repeat itself a single time. It was a true master, and it's tone was deep and soft, like velvet. I imagined that it was an older bird and I was astonished that it kept singing even though there wasn't a hint of any response or other kind of sound in that forest that I could hear. Maybe it sang to please itself, maybe it was practicing, or maybe it was singing for me. Who knows. The experience definitely had a mystical quality to it, and I'll never forget disappearing into his song and the feeling of being one with nature and deep, deep gratitude. It's funny to me that when I die, I will probably have forgotten all about the drama, the action, the accomplishments and so on. But I will remember sitting under that tree that night, listening to that blackbird virtuoso. This to me, is the essence of existence and possibly the very definition of love.

I am so pleased that you included our UK Blackbird. It has a massive repertoire, and always finishes with a very high "chirrup". An absolutely wonderful "ordinary" bird, compared with those of tropical climes. They bring so much pleasure to us here in the UK at dusk and dawn. They sing to say "Good night" and they sing to say "I've made it to another dawn". Did you know that the Wren, a tiny bird, is the emblem bird of England, and was on the obverse of our very old coin, the Farthing - a quarter of a penny - and has the loudest song of any of our indigenous birds for its size. As you can probably tell, I just love birds and their songs..... keep on singing........

Musician Wren (Organ Wren) sings a complex vocal phrase, and repeats it exactly. If there are several of them in the area you can say exactly which individual is singing. You can name them or number them and trace them by sound. This bird song is excellent to develop your musical ear. Another example of bird singing repeated complex vocal phrase is bobolink - it sings in North America and then goes to South America where it remains silent.

I have a mockingbird in my backyard in Arkansas that tops all of these birdsong examples! He is not one bit shy and sings at the top of his lungs, showing off all the different patterns he knows, and some of the sound combinations are hilarious! Very entertaining except that sometimes I can hear him singing during the night.

As I'm watching this, I have a little European Starling pecking my toes 😂... He's very cute and mischievous. 6 months old and talking. I rescued him. He is listening to the bird calls and now flying around my head trying to catch moths💕I just love him so much. (Love from us, Eastern Cape, South Africa 🌍😘)

@@soarornor... Yes, I feel the same way about the little wild birds I've had in the past. They were like little angels sent to get me through some of the darkest times of my life. I had a little "Shelly seed eater" who was with me for 14 years (their maximum lifespan in the wild is 6 years) Unbelievable little singing bird, could mimick any sound. My other little guy was a house sparrow, he was with me for 12 years. Both were extremely tame. Just thinking of them now makes my eyes mist up with tears. I miss them with all my heart💔😥
