I have been interested in vintage fans for several years now. I have 3. But noticed they are hard to find. Running or not people want too much money for the none working ones. But it is an interesting hobby. I always get excited when I see one because they are few and far between.

I'd be like a kid in a candy store,i love antique fans myself,hello from South Africa.

Would love to hang out with you brother. My very first time there, you hung out with me when I knew no one. I’ll always remember that.

I had high hopes of making it again this year; but family issues happened :( . Hopefully next time I can make it. You're so on the point about taking care and carrying the torch on appreciation of these machines from a bygone era. Keeping good things from bygone eras going is what keeps me going from one day to the next. It's not just a hobby, it's a lifestyle.

Wow… I’m pretty speechless, what an amazing collection! I noticed not only of course, all the fans, but the gorgeous, vintage and antique fluorescent fixtures! Those Art Deco fluorescent chandeliers and lamps are extremely hard to come by and are absolutely stunning! Oldest fixture I have is probably my three lamp half pipe F14T12 ceiling fixture or my late 40s/early 50s(?) F8T5 remote ballast desk lamp. Thanks for sharing!
