My son is in that choir and they kick ass. So proud of him. My son does the high screams. They also join a classical choir for shows in churches. The music, choice of cover and setup is from AGT, not GC. Sadly, even though they qualified they wont run in the competition. It was interesting but I must admit I am not into metal but it was fun to see it once. I must admit I was spoiled earlier at some of the workshops so it will take a lot to impress atm.

Well there aren't any notes to harmonise, so no, it's just a wall of similarly timbred noise.

Interesting, but I don't see me buying the album. I don't think it worked too well with Toxic. Definitely much better on the opener, Carl Orff's 'Carmina Burana', that I was onboard with 🙂

That wasn't metal. That was just the growly vocals over a classical tune then a pop tune. Needed some blast beats and loud distorted guitars to save it from being the 2 minute novelty that it was. Simon Cowell loved it which is a big sign to say 'AVOID'.

They are definitely not the first metal Acapella. Hellscore have been around for a couple years already and I'm kinda surprised they didn't even know about them considering that they've collaborated with Therion, Amorphis, and Ayreon, to name a few. Also, Hellscore are WAYYYYY better

4:07 Yes, it clearly was scripted, just like the entire show is. It's all one big fake script. I used to really enjoy this show, until it became obvious that it's all fake bs. Oh a brighter note though, Justin, check out the brother sister duo of 'Aaralyn & Izzy' sing their original song, 'Zombie Skin' on AGT. She's 6 and he's 9. Don't think the show was as scripted back then. It's one of my favorite performances on AGT : ) I'm serious, just so you know : )

Most reality shows are scripted to some extent. Sometimes heavily sometimes just prompted but they are far from true reality like a hidden a camera would be. So many people think they're actually real it baffles me 🤦‍♂️ Unless I missed it you (we) are still waiting for Rendezvous 6:02. Great song and album, I have listened to it a few times on my own since you mentioned it🎹🎸✌️
