From what I saw, I'd actually expect a mass production car like Mercedes S class to be more thoroughly developed and tested resulting in a more reliable and more ergonomic product. If I want even more luxury I could by e.g. a Brabus customization on top. This Palladium looks to me like a Pimp-my-Ride build.

Not only that, but if something goes wrong with your Brabus S class, you can get it fixed/serviced at any Merc dealership. But you know a dodge dealership wouldn’t touch this with a 10 foot pole. Where the hell do you go to fix this if your dash starts to christmas tree?

what's crazy is that cars used to be 20 feet long...especially in the late 60's to 70's. The oil embargo killed them pretty quickly.

Yup. I had a 1969 Pontiac tempest wagon. It had a straight 6 overhead cam and 3 in the tree manual transmission. That car was longer than a wet week! If I remember correctly it was 22 or 23 feet long. Try parking that in today's parking lots.

We can all be thankful for the "rare" part. This is KidRock in car form. xzibit is going to pop up and saecond dawg, and show you the hot tub and gunsafe in the bed.

Knowing this was built off of a Ram makes sense to me now. I do like how the rear fenders evoke 06-10 charger fenders though. But really, the best part of this video, was the test drive. Drives and sounds like a pickup? Sure. But that sound and giddy up though... Pinch me! Lol

Love the champagne drawer and hidden compartments. That empty space in back needs to be a snack dispenser for M&Ms and Doritos!😄

I get what this company is trying to do, and they just have to keep testing and seeing what works. Honestly, I believe they would succeed far more doing something like Carlex Design; pick any SUV or truck out there and modify it for maximum luxury which includes all trims, all buttons, switches, etc. A collaboration with the right manufacturer can also go really far, getting licensing to use the manufacturer's parts, molds, OEM products. They can engine swap, transmission swap, bring back the SRT10 by getting a Viper V10 and manual transmission in a TRX, that'll get you plenty of media. Also carbon fiber parts, billet aluminum parts, Nappa leather, designed lighting, etc. This concept isn't that appealing like the front end is too chunky, the rear looks light, it has a drawer as a trunk, the rear bench should be split, get bigger wheels on there. It's almost there tho, I have faith in this company!

Interesting and I am sure there would be the super rich who wants something different. If this is based on the Dodge Ram, does it mean this is a ladder frame vehicle? And I disagree to refer to it as a sedan. I mean the cockpit looks more like an SUV or a pickup truck. The tallish front end is definitely taken from a truck and urgh… I agree with her, this is a TRUCK.

I love many of the details, but it’s so big and lumbery that it loses ALL of that gracefulness that the designers worked so hard on. It would’ve been VASTLY more effective if it was a sedan instead of a truck.

Reminds me of a car that you would see at a 1970’s custom car show. Just needs the disco ball dropping from the ceiling. Granted the bodywork is well executed, but I think that I would rather have a well appointed Dodge Ram. They should at least lower the vehicle or base it off something like a Cadillac Escalade. I’d bet they all go to sheiks to keep in their car collection.

I remember the 1999 Lincoln Continental concept having the same trunk not to mention the 2016 navigator concept as well Ford drop the ball plenty times on their designs but I would take the concept of that navigator hands down I still look at it as the Pinnacle of beauty

That is the tackiest ram I’ve ever seen. I get that the Ram isn’t a thing in much of Europe, but in America’s and APAC it conjures too many pedestrian cues.
