This is the world's fastest jet powered aircraft. The NASA's X-43a. SUBSCRIBE!!!
-Sir how do we land? -you don't
There is no sir inside.
@Blitzkrieg 1940'sride it like a cowboy
You do the Kamikaze way
You can checkout anytime you like but you can Never leave
Notice how he says "was"
They should have pushed it to mach 10.4
Dont want a random drone in my house
@Ritchqit wont be in your house, it will be through your house.
Thats the exact mach amount for the gdarkstar in top gun maverick
We all know what happens when something go that fast
Still tho right
3.3 km per second. Wooooow
Then I can go to college in 5 sec
@LET'S PLAYnice commute..
0.001% of the speed of light! That's a huge improvement, I would say! 😂
@Charles Murphy sir we're talking about an aircraft
wtf is a kilometer!!!???
Tom Cruise has eyes on this for Top Gun 3!
It’s literally an unmanned plane
@HYPERMAINhe's gonna ride it like a cowboy
@West Tickles of Steel perfect !
@West Tickles of Steel nah, if he did, he still won't be faster than Maverick, the darkstar pilot
@West Tickles of Steelyea like not getting ripped to shreds and becoming ash because anything above mach 4 starts heating up 💀
Looks like my paper airplanes when I was in elementary school
Dude they stole your idea
Bro why are they so hard to make
@پاکستانی ایرتگل🇵🇰yeah he needs a documentary like the Pepsi guy.
Nah that’s a Star Wars ship
thats AURORA 😂
Yeah thats the point were slowly getting yhere over the next 2k years
How much does it cost 😅
camera man is faster
It's just an animation so there is no need of a camera man😂
@Ram Singh Kushwaha whoosh
Camera man is in a civic with laptop
Reasons why I’m going into aerospace engineering:
I wish you success!
At that speed I don’t care what anyone says. It’s a missile.
I'd say it was a missle, but you don't care.
Any aircraft big or fast enough can be a missile. I would give an obvious example but I feel like I shouldn't
Well missles are powerful by rocket engines, not jet engines
@Mesostar77For some reason i have a feeling he doesn't care
@Mesostar77You could technically make a missile that utilized jet engines instead of rockets. It wouldn't be as efficient as missile but technically it would still be a missile.
A true competition for s272 Darkstar 😂
"s272" its a goddamn SR-72
@Hadrontechnically it was only called Darkstar they never said it was a spy reconnaissance plane
@AuroraTheRobotno it is.
Sr-72 “son of a blackbird”
Ok a little correction here. The X43-A did not break any records. It was destroyed by remote control due to the ship's instability. The X43-B made mach 7. X43-C hit mach 10. How do I know? I worked on the project.
You delivered packages to them, got it.
The X44-d did not make to Mach 10
Or I mean the C
"Worlds fastest plane" >gets beat by the camera man
Make it manned mission by Tom Cruise he will push it to Mach 12 😂😂
Me making paper planes in sixth grade 😂
The X-15 is just the coolest of them all and it was manned In its final variants, its fuel was actually a form of nitrogen fertilizer, anhydrous ammonia.
X15 was rocket powered only , there is a reason he is saying jet powered
When you absolutely need to be there on time!
the camera man :
The NASA x-98 camera man
cameraman: “yo this isn’t fast I’m only using 1% of my power.”
Mach 9.6 is insane. That would be one hell of a ride.
Cameraman is insane for this one
If you provide the geniuses the funds…you’ll get some pretty cool shit
Darkstar been real quiet since this dropped 😂
With no moving fan parts, it might as well be considered a rocketship rather than a jet
So Guys How Is My Animation Quality? Would You Guys Like To See a Dedicated Long Video About This Plane?
Basically, if it's fast enough, it'll go even faster
Interesting side note: at those speeds at ground level, the aircraft would burn up quickly due to heating from the air. Hypersonic aircrafts have to fly high up in the sky where the air is thinner since otherwise they generate too much heat. This is why you should be skeptical of things said about hypersonics.
Looks like the airplane I folded 😂
"sir i think i cant land at this speed" "no, you go crash"
Nasa : We build a new aircraft US Army : 👁 👄 👁
Some say that they couldn't achieve Mach 10 because Tom Cruise wasn't available.
Imagine traveling to any part of the wolrd in minutes
imagine being that one aircraft thats so fast and badass that it's engine can only operate above Mach 4
If it'd existed, it would need a turboscramjet engine, meaning that it's a hybrid of a normal turbojet engine combined with the scramjet so it could propel itself to the speeds required to turn on the scramjet
Bro they explained that
@Jacob MorganThey explained that it'd be launched off another aerial vehicle.
Yeah this was done cuz I yes I helped built the scramjet engine rebuild the fuel injection I build a lot of parts on it how social part of the test team we took it through its paces it started with a 600 mi an hour wind going through its front end and out the back we pushed it all the way up to Mark 11 we have the only facility that can build new building do that at the time the scramjet engine was very successful and if we could push more through it we would have but they didn't want us to blow it up this particular design or back from the 1960s we dug it out of a conix or the first try to make it back then the problem was they didn't know how to deal with liquid oxygen this particular engine they were trying to develop a scramjet engine for the x 33
It's real and they used a basic scramjet to reduce weight and size. The craft is tiny
Scramjets are such intriguing engines, and their power is honestly terrifying.
Finally, a person who enraged the 12 year old Supra fans
Shout out to the cameraman for running so fast
Mach 9.6? Sounds like we're making the Dark Star baby 😎
"unmanned" Major Pete Knight: "please..."
We’re getting closer to warp drive capabilities ☕️
Nah, a warp drive is something completely different than a jet powered aircraft that can reach mach 9.6.
warp drive is achieved through bending the fabric of space
Lmao not ever. FTL travel is objectively impossible due to time dilation.
many thanks to the builder for this long bridge he built for the video
We used to call that a "Flying Fuselage," where the body shape supplied lift like the wings.
3.3 km per second ❎ 17,369 bananas per second ✅
Russia: we are the only county with hypersonic missiles. 'Murica: Yo sure bozo? 🦅
Wow! Very cool! Love this video! Amazing!
That animation looked really cool
Give me more speed Scotty. Aye capt! More Scotty! I've given ya all I got captain! !
IT'S THE FUCKING X15 I GOOGLED IT FOR YOU
It’s the fastest manned aircraft the x-43 is a faster aircraft
X-15 is a rocket powered not jet, but the fastest manned jet powered aircraft (not ramjet cause that’s different) is the sr71
That would be the fastest manned aircraft. But it is a rocket plane. I believe the SR-71 is the fastest air-breathing manned aircraft. The X-43 is the fastest air-breathing aircraft.
@Danny Pipe Wrench yes
@Warthunder Moments Glad we agree.
The cameraman recording this plane must be pretty fit
Camera man is unbeatable
Man I thought that was a whistle 😂
this Thing can pierce a giant wall of paper without even noticing
Looks familiar..1988 wants its bird back.
7,307 mph And 11,760 kmph Bro that's not fast enough 😢
a random battleship: oh no...
Pull the stick up the slightest and you got a vertical frisbee
I remember the Super Combustion RAM jet mentioned in a Popular Science magazine in the 80's . When it was still in early experimental stages
This thing travels galaxies
Technically it is a drone as it is unmanned
If we watch top gun 2 then you know the real speed
The rocket depicted was not a Pegasus, but the video clip shown afterward was.
That's not a powerplant that's the engine.
It’s like calling a cruise missile “unmanned-aircraft” and just put a record on it 😂😂😂
Basically a hypersonic rocket
Us defence : so, ladies and gentlemen we are going to add missile launching system in this aircraft
Damn, fastest paper airplane design
Gov: can we fit a warhead in it tho
Change the model up a little bit and top gun mav is a reality!
that shit be the stuff you slide over a calculator 💀
When I mistakenly make a wrong fold while making a paper plane at school :
I love the design
Dang the cameraman is only at 1 percent speed rn and he still caught up to the jet
That's not a aircraft... That's technically a hypersonic missile
-tom cruise "rookie numbers"
The AURORA. They denied the existence of that thing for a long time.
Design a missile in that shape and it's magic
0.001% throttle = 100k knots
Just wait until they let my designs start to be built.
So essentially it's a jet that can only be a jet, if it's always operating at jet speeds.
Yoo that's fast even for an unmanned craft
9.6 speed of sound = 7365.784 miles per hour
so we moved on from having wings to being the wing, interesting
More or less yeah.
Finally We nearly got the si-fi technology
Props to the cameraman
I bet this is what everyone's been recording thinking they aliens 😂😂
A scramjet engine infact does having moving parts. A scramjet is a traditional jet engine that can “transform” into a ramjet. A ramjet is the one without any moving parts.
That's some sci fi looking craft
Meanwhile Aliens can disappear before your eyes in their ships 😂
I certainly see....I Feel the Need....for SPEED✨
I love how the letter X has become the universal letter given to any goofy or futuristic looking objects and devices
X stands for experimental crafts aka goofy and futuristic crafts
Props to camera guy going 9.7
"I'm so fast that my engine starts at mach 4"
This is straight Star Wars space craft
That looks like the cover for my calculator
Would be awesome if the background wasn't made of epilepsy
Fun fact The sr 71 blackbird has scram jet capabilities
Looks exactly like the one shown in Interstellar.😮
could easily have the engine design convert over for hypersonic missiles as well
I would argue that a scramjet is a rocket and not a jet.
I can go from Trieste to my home in Albania in less than 4 minutes instead of 18h car ride. Amazing
Even the fastest aircraft cant match to the speed of the cameraman
