The World's BIGGEST Gyoza Has Been Around For 52 Years In Tokyo, Japan!

For my final video in Tokyo, Japan, I stopped into Kagurazaka-Hanten to take on their 52 year old Jumbo Gyoza Challenge which happens to be the biggest gyoza in the world! Challengers have 60 minutes to finish a 2.5kg gyoza stuffed with pork in order to win their ¥9,600 meal for free and a spot up on Kagurazaka Hanten's very crowded Wall of Fame!!!

I really think that they should have either provided you with some kind of glove or towel to hold the gyoza; or you should’ve been allowed to wait 10-15 minutes for it to cool down before starting, because whilst you did finish in amazing time, I think you would’ve finished so much more quickly had it have not been burning you to cinders!

As much as I adore gyoza, I wouldn’t even attempt eating any without the special gyoza sauce! It is mostly soy sauce and vinegar, but also contains a little chiili oil and some also have a little sesame oil. Yum! I really miss my teen years working at a Japanese noodle shop who made the yummiest gyoza and sauce.
