Hey John! In your opinion, what is the best engine mount for a 2006 hd dyna super glide? Under 50mph is fine but over that (highway speed) it shakes. Could it be the effects of the wind or do I need to change the motor mounts?

Have you had any experience with the Rekluse clutches? I'm thinking about going with the Torq Drive in my 19 RGS and curious about your thoughts with it or even their auto clutch. Thanks and stay safe. #CLAYSTRONG

What was the main reason for changing the size of the bigger primary case on the 2018 flfbs to the slimmer one on 2019 and 2020 models?

Riding and Wrenching bikes for 50 now, the death wobble is NOT limited to Harleys. I have had it happen on just about every make, some minor and some a handful to get control of. Caused by more than one "Lack of Maintenance" issues. Can't wait to see your video on this one John.

Wife is a Nurse Practitioner in an ER and I am a firefighter/emt so its crazy for both of us at work and with 3 kids home and this home schooling its nuts. Sometimes motorcycles don't trip the vehicle detection sensor, so here in Minnesota it is legal for a motorcycle to go through a red light after waiting for while and the light doesn't change. Not sure how long that "while" is, but I have occasionally taken advantage of that law.

It is actually pretty funny, your referencing more days that you shop will be open. I was actually hired at a local hd dealership near me as an apprentice, in the middle of this pandemic, doing 40+ hours a week.( we just moved up to 48 hours last week). Things are still hopping in the Harley Davidson world. That's excellent about Clay and of course HAPPY BORNDAY CLAY. Over here in New Zealand our country has been in complete lockdown for a week now, only essential services operating. We're not allowed out for rides which sucks.

Working from home...for now. Fortunately I work in Concrete Sales and my office is not only in a building but also in my car on a laptop on job sites. My bike is in storage at out local HD shop and they are closed but opening soon by appointment for pick up only. I don't dare whine to her about picking up my bike with all she's going thru right now

Not too good here...staying home, go out to my shop in the morning, turn the tunes on, and turn wrenches on my bike all day to pass the boredom...you can only take one apart and put it back together so many times! Lol Y’all be safe out there! Godspeed...

Hey John thanks for keeping us up to date on Clay's condition definitely a bad time to be in the hospital....not that it's ever a good time to be laid up lol ride safe and stay healthy I vote for the front end wobble did the neck bearings in a friends flh and he is getting a wobble when he let's go of the bars or at higher speeds not the first bearing job I've done I have four bikes and have done the neck bearings in 2 of the four thanks.

Question: have you seen any transmission issues with the m8 softail lineup? I’ve noticed the touring models tend to shred 3rd gear. Either the group I follow doesn’t shift correctly or H-D has a problem 😕

At least your dealership is open, even with reduced hours. Dealership in Jackson TN is closed. But they keep posting on Facebook everyday that they’ll deliver to your house if you buy a Harley. But Car Dealers are open with reduced hours.

Hi John, I have spectra glo lighting I've been having issues with. I change the battery in the key fob and less than a week later it's dead again. Frustrated. Systems not even a year old yet!

Question: I want to change out my crash bar where my lower fairing is on my 2016 Electra Glide Ultra Classic. How hard is it to remove the lower fairing to do this? I can find no videos on KZread to show me how, so I do not mess up the cooling line going in the lower fairing

if you dont already know this. When pulling up to a light that has a sensor in the roadway in order for the light to know someone is there, what you need to do is pull bike right over the wire or slit that is in the road. Normally , cars can cover over this, cause they are bigger. But with bikes, there might not be enough steel to change the capacitance of the circuit. So just pull right on top of the little crevice that has a wire in it and the light should change for you. Most times the wire is in a square, right behind the white line where cars bumpers would be.
