Right? I noticed that the North American stuff was much more fast and aggressive, almost blackened death metal-ish while the Asian stuff was more slow and melodic

Black Metal is always something special to me somehow... There is the stuff that I dont like at all and then there's the stuff that I love; it can be so raw, melodic in a simple, but haunting way and I just love that... Great medley! Thank you so much!!

Thank you for being who you are. Not only is this a great channel to see some great talent on display, but you also help me discover so much great music I would otherwise never have found. Add on top of that the fact that you learn all these riffs as well, its very impressive. Ive accepted that anytime I watch one of your videos, I'll end up with half a dozen or more youtube tabs open to go back and listen to some of the full songs. So many great artists out there that need someone like you to help get their name out there and its great to see that so many other nations have embraced the beauty of metal music. Its one of the few things ive seen that truly unite people of all backgrounds. Tip of the hat and a salute to you and the rest of the metalheads out there, wherever they may be.

Ok, Oldschool metal fan stuck in the 1987 - 1994 era, subscribing now. TheSuffocater, man, not only do you know (and play) your (and our) classics but your channel is without a doubt one of the best source of fresh metal bands from all over the world. This is not the first awesome vid I see from you but that one does it for sure. Smart work and big thanks on that riff-list : BlackBraid from the States, Morok from Ukraine, Asagraum from Holland / Netherlands 🤘🔥🤘. My personal top 3 after one hearing but there's not a bad riff in all that vid, to be fair. Thumbs up for keeping it real, no BS, no politics and just the music. Respect. Loved all your Burzum covers and your Style A vs Style B stuff. Cheers and best regards from France, Finistère.

Awesome medley of black metal. A bunch of bands I didn't know and some I did. For black metal all around the world I gotta shout out Te Ruki from French Polynesia. Their debut from this year rules.
Nice broad playlist with many discoveries 🎸
Thank you for including Wildernessking in here, I really miss that band now.
Thank you very much bro for bringing a song from a black metal band from Indonesia♠️🤘🏻
Oh, thank you so much, you did such a great work. I hope it’s pleasant for you to play and listen black metal and you love this phenomenally wide genre and culture as well as I am and not tired of it and don’t think it’s primitive. Every of this 25 sounds pretty identical but they are different and always can impress you. If you are tired from aggression, you can listen some atmospheric or depressive black (not a hysterical one)
Your vids man have inspired me greatly! Thanks!
Amazing work! The time and effort put into this must be staggering. Your best video yet and I say that as someone who never really listens to black metal (except the first three Bathory albums).

Nice job, man! Nice to see Kvaen make the list. Both of their albums are in regular rotation for me. Hail. \m/
Great stuff good sir. When I initially watched this and before I played through it, I was thinking that bands like Celtic Frost, Mercyful Fate, Mayhem, Cradle of Filth and other more recognizable bands would be featured. I'm actually glad they weren't because this helped open the eyes of a 36 year old curmudgeon guitar player to more Metal bands than he knew existed. My personal playing styles vary in range, though I try to play a little Metal with the harder edged Art Rock and Experimental stuff. Helps give my audience and myself something refreshing than playing the same dull rubbish. I've checked a few other videos out from you, good stuff too and this was an easy subscribe. I don't usually subscribe but this was a no brainer. I'll check out more from you and head bang some more until I get back on the guitar and brew some more ideas for my next project. Thank you and Rock On!
Not a big fan of Black Metal but this is awesome 🤘 And there's a band from my country too 🇮🇩 which i just knew from this video. Great job man 🤘
Very nice. Would love to have a second and maybe a third part of this.
Very very good idea to go with such set. Cheers :)
