This reminds me of when my best friend pronounced my name wrong for YEARS. I thought it was like an accident and she thought my name was Hatty, 🤷🏼♀️ until my other friend said my name one day and the look of shock, she was like... "just to clarify your name is Hatty?" And then me and that other friend at the same time say "no..." And she was like OH MY GOODNESS WAIT WHAT IS IT THEN?!?" and then I calmly told her, lol. I love that girl.

Yes exactly 💯 just like the rainbow 🌈 it used to mean something else but now it's associated with toxic. Such a shame because I loved having my hair fun pastel colored but I do not want to be grouped with them at all and it makes me sad because I looked so cute with it.
My biggest identity is probably being a mom. This is like me getting frustrated if no one ever acknowledged that I’m a mom or addressed me as a mom, particularly if my kids aren’t with me.
When I was a kid I wanted to color my hair pink (as most little kids do) and my dad would say people would think I was a liberal, it upset me at the time but now I totally agree with him.
Narcissism is a greater issue than we thought… it’s a tough lesson to learn that the world isn’t here to make you happy and comfortable

I will say this. As a 55 year old male who has worked with the public most of my life, Sir and Ma'am are second nature and meant as respect. To those who are offended by that, its YOUR problem, not mine. They are terms of respect and courtesy. If you have an issue with that, YOU have the issue. +atx4fun So the thing about the word "Ma'am" is that's generally a term used on those who are way older than those younger than them. Tbh though, I'll be 30 next year and I've been called "ma'am" more than one time and I remember it happened when I was 22 at 1 point. But the more consistent it became, the more annoying it got to me b/c it's like "I'm not at that age,"-this was how I thought of that at the time. I never once said a word, but it had annoyed. But also surprised me when I was called "ma'am" for the 1st time too. I remember I had a customer once actually call me "ma'am" abt. 3x before I even paid attention and/or heard them.

oh noice good to know , i'm a boy too on like the right/if i had to say a libertarian , but don't really subscribe to one party , cuz at this point i've noticed that both sides kind of say the same things but from different ends , like a charade/the uniparty , like the left would tell a feminine boy/femboy (which i am) that he's really a woman/"trans" and the conservative right would tell him he's not a man/male , but anyways been thinking about dyeing my hair so good to know there's others like me

But i won't let them steal pretty colors as with the rainbow. I use purple for brown hair and I'm half gray probably but the purple is pretty and I like it and I am ultra-conservative so I'm not letting 'em steal my pretty color

As a goth, that really enjoys playing fun, punky colors in her hair. I hate how colored hair is associated with these crazy people. I love to dye my hair, bright, purple, and red, but I can’t.

I must say I had no issues with trans people before, by default I was supportive and understanding. Now that I saw trans people acting like this on social media, I have issues. Now I try to avoid them as much as possible because you never know which kind of people they are and it seems to me the more they want to stand out instead of blend in the higher the chance that you get trouble.
