I was able to hear this Luna amp with the DCA Ether 2 at Canjam this year, and it was only bested by the Susvara/ Mass-kobo 465, and the HE-1. I love this amp and someday hope to get one for myself. It was better than the Feliks Audio Envy by a large margin. And the design just hits. Woo should make a mini version of this thing for like $2k. I'd probably buy both. LOL.

You are literally reviewing everything right now that I'm considering purchasing this month or interested in buying at some point. I was looking at getting this amp sometime next year and buying the WA7 this month along with the Diana MR. The only thing it seems like you don't have in your possession currently that I'm also interested in is the Topping DX9, but you cover a lot of topping stuff so who knows maybe you'll get that soon. Definitely watching your channel intently for these finished reviews....

@JoshuaValour The WA23 Luna is perhaps my favorite amp. It's is just as good as the HM1 and sounds more musical. Great first impressions and you are onto something when you talk about the solidity. The clarity is an effect of it doing all that's its doing and not a manufactured one. Additionally, it has a sense of refinement and an organic approach to the music that I honestly have not heard in another amp. Very natural, and real.

Great review as always. Also loving the chilled out track in the background. Do you know what it's called? Shazam is not my friend today. 👍

incisive vid as always josh, just thought i'd point out that the WA234-mono is their flagship headphone amp, unless u dont count that cuz it doubles as a speaker amp

so, to every woo amp I listened to, my reaction in my mind was just WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

When tube replacements are probably worth more than my headphone collection.🤣

This with the ZMF Atrium is one of my favorite combos ever. Good listening!

@@Peace_Guard This amp gives the Atrium an airiness and authority that nothing else in my arsenal does, with only the HM1 coming close on the authority front. It honestly brings out a beauty and realism that's hard to describe. The 650/6xx has a similar improvement when run on this.

I would love you to do a review on what hi end headphones do sound great as a pair for DHT tube amps as this one, I think you will find more and more appealing the DHT tube amps world like the 71 , 10y , 45 , 46 , 2a3...6b4g

Very nice amp. I am wondering how this compares with the WA-33 as they are similarly priced? Whom do they target with each device aside from obviously the people with a very large disposable income 😋.

its not better than the WA33 elite... i have the 23 and 33e. 33e is more holographic... bigger. Pretty sure WA33E with upgraded tubes and the correct chain is unbeatable. With Utopia 2022 extraordinary. 23 is a beautiful amp as well but does not beat the 33E

I bet Feliks Envy sounds better. I believe the Envy is also balanced while this one isn't? It would be interesting to see how they compare sonically with each other.

The envy was still tube like. It still coloured the siund quite considerably from a ture neutral solid state.

It looks crazy. I wonder how much the tube replacement would be?

Cheapest 300B PSVane I could find are about $55 a pop, so 5 of them $275. I've also saw some at about $400 per tube, so $2000 in that case. Looks like these are the cheaper ones in the video

Power output: 2.5 watts pure class A. Btw skuttlebutt is that the Takatsuki tubes make a big difference.

I get the low key, hard to see markings as they’re going for a look and aesthetics. A color changing led over each knob would’ve sufficed. Disappointed that they didn’t include a 4.4mm jack though.

If that doesn't destroy Euforia, then either the Euforia is the best OTL ever or this is wildly overpriced. I mean, you get half of the Euforia for the fkn volume knob of this thing...

Fondly enough, 2a3 gives about 3W of power, so WA23 is roughly 3 watts per channel.

Man I feel how hard it is to express how a high-end amp sounds through words. Honestly I'm sitting here watching this video and feel so completely alienated and curious, because none of the words you said helps me visualize. That said I'm not a hardcore audiophile, I'm just a filthy casual

Not only do I think it's fantastic that they are not including a generic power cord that is guaranteed to sit in a drawer somewhere forever, I wish Summit level headphone manufacturers would follow suit!
