I post all of the music I make, including WAV stems; sample packs; Dirtywave M8 song bundles; collections of video textures; early access to videos; and a whole pile of other stuff on Patreon. I know I know, I hate doing this as well, but if you like what I do and want to get more of it, while also helping me offset some of my ludicrous gear purchases, this is the best place to do it:

If you're in the market for new gear, my favourite place to find new and interesting synthesizers and other electronic music gear is Signal Sounds. They are based in Glasgow, but ship all over the place and often have stuff nobody else does. Find them at www.signalsounds.com/

no, thank U
I have the 99 Noir version of these and the headband has an embossed 'R' on one side to mark the right cup. I don't know if the 99 Classics version has that R marking, but it's easily overlooked if you don't know its there. These are my favorite cans of all time for listening. But they're terrible for mixing and mastering, lol.

The Noirs look sooo nice and I was tempted but the shipping to the UK put me off. Sadly no embossed right marker on the Classics! Think massdrop added that.
They do look great! I had several of their earbuds which almost instantly broke. I am worried about the quality issue compared to sennheisers at same price point. Are better than sennheiser momentum 4:s?

Oh dang, sorry to hear that. Their support seems to be pretty decent - and these are designed to be replaceable at each point which is cool. I can't really speak to the Momentum 4s, but Sennheiser are obviously great. They are wireless and closed back so a bit different as well.

@@mainiotaainetta oops sorry. Yes, they are. It's the pros which aren't!
I really think you should try the Meze 109 Pro. (P.S. Please use the NTH-100M more, i am interested to see how much it lats until you need to replace the locking mechanism, that is the only thing that is stopping me from buying them, and i really hope Rode can offer a metallic inlay, or full metal part that does not brake, and have it as a replacement when your brake, and as standard when you buy new pairs.)

they should add a little golden dot mark somewhere on the updated box, so when you buy them, you know that you got the metalic lock one or the plastic one.

I'd love to try them! They are a tad out of my price range at the moment though. Feel free to tell Meze to send me a pair!! I am using the NTH-100 regularly, and haven't experienced any hassles with the locking mechanism yet, though tbf I don't lock and unlock it a whole lot. They also offer a long/lifetime warranty, which is reassuring. I'm curious to see if they change out that part in future though.

I bought the 99 classic a week ago, and since then I've been trying to get used to its sound, but it's not going very well! To me, it's terribly dry, it pushes the mid-high hags almost into my face! What's worse is that it cannot be removed even with EQ, it sounds like a "wooden cup"! This really irritates me! I regret buying these headphones!

Still time to send them back!!
Frequency response graphs are completely useless. I understand them totally, and just because they're capable of delivering at 20 hz, doesn't mean they'll deliver well. Every headphone company boasts their frequency response, but it means nothing
