One correction: The Full Automatic block was in the original release of The Wonderful 101. I never remember seeing it or using it haha.

You unlocked it playing on very easy I believe whereas the remastered version looks like its available on all difficulties from the start.

Holy shit, I saw this in my sub box and wondered "Wait, who's this guy, I don't remember subbing to him", and then realizing you rebranded and KZread just never showed me your videos until now. Glad to see you're continuing to make videos.

Having finished the story in the early backer Steam version, while I agree with you that there isn't a whole lot here to justify the 'Remastered' moniker, I have to say that 60 FPS and significantly faster loading times alone made the whole thing worth it. Even if it's essentially the same game, it's never felt better to play. Also, I'm a little surprised that you didn't mention that the Multi-Morph ability is now a purchasable upgrade instead of being in your base kit.

Oh I agree, having that steady framerate is very nice. Weirdly enough the faster load times completely make the training loading screen useless. I thought that was actually kinda nice to practice unite morphs but I'll take faster loading any day. And I legit completely forgot the multi-morph was there from the start on the Wii U. I mentioned having it in my original review so I just missed that! That's my bad!

Great video, man! Your passion for this game really comes through in this. I do remember enjoying The Wonderful 101 the first time I played it on Wii U several years back. Definitely agree about the game being a little lacking in the conveyance department as well. I understand they were in a hurry to push out a port quickly, but a quick addition of a more comprehensive tutorial would have been great.

Thanks dude! And yeah, I think even just adding a training mode would have been awesome. The loading screens were kind of that on the Wii U but now the loading, at least on PC, is so fast you don't even get time to train. They should just make that loading screen it's own mode!

Well, welcome back. And good thing I got it remastered too, for Switch, but I'll have to wait for my physical way later. Good thing I got the Steam digital key

Yeah it was super cool of them to send out digital codes for physical backers! I wouldn't have been able to make this if they didn't haha.

I never had a WiiU so I totally missed this title when it initially released. I’m definitely going to have to check it out though! It looks totally unique.

Weird question: does the physical edition of the Switch release have "Nintendo" on the spine? I buy the Nintendo published stuff physically and everything else digitally. This video convinced me to pick it up, but I just wanna be sure before deciding which version. I know they originally published it and not this time, but just wanted to check.

I'm not really sure. The physical release will come out in June which is what I got but they sent out steam codes to Kickstarter backers too. If I had to guess though I would say "Nintendo" won't be on the spine but Platinum's logo will be instead since they are self publishing.
