No matter how many times i've seen TWY live or just videos of live performances, I get so fucking emotional and get a knot in my throat. I love this band so much.

I thought I was weird or something, I felt exactly like that when I saw them live a few years ago (it was the tour for no closer to heaven). I actually was crying during cigarettes and saints because it hits so close to home. I’m not as into the same type of music these days but their first 3-4 albums hold a special place in my heart

There are few bands that leave it all on the stage while maintaining longevity like them. It’s remarkable

Hearing all these songs back to back brings me to that town again. I grew up in Lansdale Pa. Went to the same school these guys did. Im a bit older though. They were called Bangarang back in the day. The local bowling alley was burnt down, probably for the insurance. The church on main is an episcopal church with bright red doors. Its in the one video I used to live 3 blocks from it. The record shop is still there next my buddy Brads comic book shop. Philly is straight shot down Rt 309. Whites rd is a local public pool. We used to skate the steps and turn around. Get chased out by the cops. The high school had 5000 kids b4 the new building was build. Talk about over crowding in the middle of no kids left behind. So much true history in these albums. Thanks for doing this.

I LOVE Hoodie Weather! The lyrics are so relatable for me. I grew up in Aberdeen in the NE of Scotland and so much of what he says about his hometown is applicable to mine.

Summers in PA is such an underrated banger, was so awesome to see them break it out again on this tour

Remember seeing them in 2013 when The Greatest Generation released, wild how the years seem to speed by.

1:31:05 I love Came Out Swinging as much as everyone else, but All My Friends Are In Bar Bands is definitely my favorite TWY song, and hearing it live like this with everyone joining in for the ending 1:33:38… wow. Seeing TWY perform live just hits so different

I’ve low key always wondered about “I won’t say the Lord’s Prayer” thank you Soupy for clarifying.

Soupy's vocals have really only gotten better over the years!

God that must be exhausting doing a tour of 2 hour sets. Props to the greatest band of all time. Also Mike Kennedy is a BEAST.

TWY is so fucking cool man, still hoping for some eu shows in the near future.

This was such a great show to be at, and in Cbus Dan tore that jacket and was super upset but Meredith from Spanish Love Songs came out and took it and said she could fix it and obviously she did, I saw her with it after the show taking it to their van, haha. Such a good night. One of the highlights of this PPV is Kennedy dancing with Hank at the end of Living Room Song, he's such a lovely man.

They played Me vs the highway in Chicago and I almost cried tears of joy. That song kept me having hope for awhile

I have been too so many shows since I saw them in February, but this shows still holds a special place in my heart as my absolute favorite this year. I'm glad they did this livestream so I was able to somehow recapure the magic once more, and now back here. Thank you

Same, I would listen to one on the bus ride to school and during announcements and the other on the way home in the month leading up to The Greatest Generation. Shoutout junior year of high school lmao.

A friend of mine was playin these guys back in like 09 or 2010 maybe. Little did I know at the time that they'd be part of this big goofy pop punk revival thing that happened. Sad to say, I think I kinda liked them back then haha!! Weird to think people all over the country know who they are now.

Love it, even if they didn't play Rob Gordon or Logan Circle New Hope

Nah they are doing tours where they play each album in full for the 10th year anniversary, they just did Greatest Generation.

As someone who has been getting into the band very recently what are the chances of them doing this set again soon? I want to listen to so many of the songs in this video but also wanna wait in case they play them the first time I see them so thats the first time I hear what they sound like live.

That was the lead singer + bass player of Save Face, the lead singer of Origami Angel, and the lead singer of Spanish Love Songs, all of whom opened for them on this tour.

It’s the lead singers from the openers. The orange jumpsuits are from Save Face, the guy with the bun is from Origami Angel, and the guy with the beanie and glasses is from Spanish Love Songs. All great bands!
