I also learned that I'm now at the age where I can sprain my ankle simply by sleeping wrong (true story, dealing with it right now). But things are solid. I got married, am expecting my first child this summer, and don't hate what I do for a living. I hope you and everyone else in this thread or watching this video is doing well too.

Suburban Atlanta here. I can relate. Can't tell you how many times I rolled through town on summer nights in my shitty Ford Ranger I had back when I was like 18 at 3am with the windows down and this at full volume. Hope all is well up north, brothers. Keep your heads up.

2020 has been a total rollercoaster for me (aside from the pandemic). Since only January, I've moved twice, studied at 2 universities and lived in 3 different countries. When he sang "I spent this year as a ghost and I'm not sure where home is anymore" I really felt it.

the wonder years literally helped me grow from a teenager to an adult, a lot has changed but sometimes I feel like I still have to come back and listen to these guys just to touch base. Helps me understand who I am, who I've been, and where I'm going.

People who hate on TWY obviously have no idea what real music is. They're one of the best bands to come out in very long time. It's not just the music, its the lyrics, the emotion and everything in between that make them so great. They know how to hit on all emotional levels.

I'm pretty sure I have watched this video about 100x in the past 3 days. I can't stop listening to it. Its so good and just makes you feel that every things going to be okay at the end of the day.

I remember the fire near the beach.. screaming the end part of this song. Those were rough times, but its safe to appreciate under the half lit fluorescents of nostalgia.

A special Owl 🦉 brought me here.

So glad the Owl showed me this band, I instantly became a big fan. Easily my favorite group I ever heard. I had a blast at their show in Cleveland a couple week ago.

Wow his singing voice at the beginning is so different than his softer voice at the end. It almost made me wonder if it was a 2nd singer. But the last part of the song is so emotional and I love how the intensity increases each time he sings it. Such a great, authentically raw, meaningful song! “And I spent the winter writing songs about getting better.”
