I love to listen to her clincking sound of utensils and nature around her. It shows how vivid is her life must be - the sound of strength, joys and thankfulness in her simple life. 🎉

I never imagined that a video about the preparation of a dish would be as interesting, surprising, well-organized and objective as the one recorded on this video. Seeing Maria Dmitroniak producing a dish from scratch is one of the most remarkable food-related works I have seen. Also, the whole environment where the cooking activity happens contributed a lot to the feeling of well-being and peacefulness I felt while watching the video. Dear Maria, congratulations on your efficiency, skills and hard work and thank you very much for sharing them with us.

I couldn’t stop watching, I’m just in awe of her whole process from start to finish. Then to top it off such beautiful scenery to wake up too. To see all the beautiful greenery, mountains, the water flowing near by and being able to pick fresh berries and mint from the earth it’s so rare nowadays. She’s so neat and organized with everything, thanks for sharing.

My parents were Ukrainian and I was brought up with food that Maria is cooking, so delicious, all the ingredients I can see is exactly how mum would have made these meals. With technology as it is now, I wish mum was here to see how the internet could have transported her back to her country and the area where she lived and where Maria lives, it would have been such a joy for her.

You know,,tonight I took a chance on watching this woman's videos, and almost immediately I fell in love with her. Because she reminds me of my great aunt Elizabeth with whom I lived on and off in my early childhood.This lady reminds me of her industriousness and meal preparation skills.She could cook anything. And like this lady here recipes were all in her head. She could go out into the forests and pick what to me looked life weeds, then bring them home and cook some of the best food I've ever eaten. As I watched this woman cooking these meals, I found myself wishing that I could goto Ukraine to taste just a little of what she was preparing. The thing that puzzles me, is the volume of food that she cooks each time. If she's alone, then, why does she cook such volumes of food each time. I know that you can cook one meal that lasts an entire week, because I just did that with pasta and meat sauce, as well as, I cooked an entire meatloaf. and I ate the two things on alternate nights as well as in combination some nights. But this is something far more than that. So what's the catch? Does she cook for other people in the area or what? No matter what I'm definitely going to keep watching the videos. I'm 70.5 years of age, but I still love cooking and watching people cook for real like this lady. She is amazing! Thanks for finding her and sharing with the rest of us. My name is Reggie.

I don't know about Ukranian culture but watching her videos about how life is in the mountains; I see is hard due to the low and harsh temperatures in winter. Her nature and lovely disposition make her videos easy to see and understand what she is doing or cooking. One can recognize the ingredients she is using for all the cooking. Myself I have a passion for nature, for plants and for cooking, that is why I admire her personality, her videos on cooking and all the talents she possesses. At the beginning of the video, she is collecting wild rose hips to make tea for the chilling weather. The reddish buds she puts in her little basket. Then she is making homemade cheese. she has fresh cheese and dried cheese already done. Then she blends the dried one to make a dough of cheese and she kneads the cheese dough to fill in the pasta she makes later. She uses flour to make the dough and adds eggs to it. She kneads both cheese and flours separately. Then we can see how she prepare and cuts the round parts to make Tourtellellinis or also called Dumplings. She starts to fill in the dumplings. She seals tightly the dumplings to make sure they do not open when cooking. She cooks them in boiled water until tender. At the mean time she has extracted perhaps some marinated animal fat with slightly meat in it and she frys it. She uses at the end to spread this fat over the dumplings to enrich the flavor. She also has at the side; I believe is cream and spreads also over the top. My God, everything looks so appetizing and delicious! She decorated with some green herbs perhaps aromatizing and flavoring that she cut from her garden. At the end, she washes the rose hips and boils them in lots of water to make the rose hip tea. What a perfect dinner! I hope this can help you, according to what I see! Enjoy it as much as I did, and I am looking forward making her fabulous recipe. I can imagine, one can use the recipe as a base and add anything else we want in the dumpligs, such chicken and veggies or just pure cheese.

Такое впечатление, что человек 5 мужчин наколят ей дров, (их надо от куда то привезти...), кто то почистит все кастрюли и сковородки от сажи..., Приведёт дом в порядок...скамейка даже свеже выкрашенная... Кто то постирает за кадром(отбелит), она только готовое белье вешает сушиться... Красота! Готовь только... Но оно и видно, что она готовит на приезжих человек 20! Желаю МИРА И ЗДОРОВЬЯ ЭТОЙ БОЛЬШОЙ СЕМЬЕ!

Вы хозяюшка, вы кудесница, у вас золотые ручки! Вся то в трудах и заботах о своей семье! У нас так же в деревнях, живе́м своим хозяйством, свой огород, правда держим курочек, я сейчас сею на рассаду помидорки, баклажаны, перчики цветы разные, а потом посею огурчики, кабачки, тыквы и всё остальное, так же приготовлю разной еды,и жду детей и внуков приезжают на выходные, у нас зима была под - 35, снегу много до дома не дойти, но скоро все́ растает! И будем заниматься высадкой рассады. Люблю то же на земле работать это даёт жизнь, движение и энергию. Там хорошо в своём доме и спокойно!Всем мира и добра! Живу на севере в Вологодской области. I am totally mesmerized by Maria's way of life and cooking, in such a beautiful setting. I am from Botswana, in Southern Africa, and this reminds me of our traditional cooking,gathering wood for the wood and coal stove, fetching water from a well ( or river). Whenever we visited the village, our Grannies would treat us to great traditional food which often ended with a bush walk to pick at wild fruit and berries.Ah, what great memories!!

@@hadelidell4285 Really! Thanks, but again what was the initial whitish stuff she made like a flour dough and shredded then enclosed them in those circles to boil. I am above 40 and beginning to learn how to cook hope it isn't too late. That thing in the beginning where she had to shake something also in a glass and add some quantities to anyway. I like what the lady is doing there up hill.

Wow! The good looks healthy and delicious. Makes me hungry to watch. I’m amazed she doesn’t have her own restaurant. She’s a real chef. I trust. She enjoys her cooking and looks like it keeps her very healthy. Bless her. I thank her for sharing. We often take for granted what real creative cooking from scratch is. Our modern conveniences seem to take a far back seat to this wonderful way of cooking from scratch with simple almost primitive tools. Yes, it’s healthy and delicious. When I see something like this it reminds me what I’m missing by being in such developed surroundings. The fresh air, the fresh food, the natural exercise that obviously keeps her very fit and happy. She knows how to create her needs. Bravo. I would love to visit there and learn how to make those wonderful dishes. The Lord bless and keep her.

@@nikkimendoza2720 A summer kitchen was a separate building used for cooking and canning food. In some climates this was necessary because of the excess heat of a wood fired cook stove would overheat the house. There was also the benefit of a reduced risk of fire in the main house

I have a question. Is this a summer kitchen even though her bed is in the corner? The title says she lives alone in the mountains and while that does seem true, it doesn't appear that she's truly alone. She visits other buildings for wood and flour. Maybe it's just me but I feel like the title is a bit "click-baity". My grandma had something similar to a summer kitchen. She had a regular kitchen inside the house and, off of the back porch, she had a stove/oven where she'd bake/cook in the summer. She also had a her washing machine and dryer for clothes. We're from South Carolina, USA and in the summertime, it gets very hot and humid. Summer temperatures are usually in the mid 90s (35C)with it getting as hot as 100F-105F (37.7C-40.5C), at the hottest, with humidity of 90-95%. I remember thinking that her and my grandfather must have been rich, to afford two kitchens. They also had a bigger house than my own home and my father's parent's house as well. I didn't realize that it was because they had 4 kids (so they needed more space) whereas my other grandparents had two kids. It's funny the ideas children have and how they see the world.

New to this channel and it is fantastic how you document this and other hardworking ladies. I assume she’s having guest’s arriving as there’s no way she’s going to eat all of that herself😂
