Poole will be in the last year of his deal when the Wizards are just starting to compete for the Playoffs. The last year of his deal is also the only year his contract is really able to b moved. Either way if traded or he plays out his contract, Poole likely isnt a part of there "winning" future. Kispert and Kuz will likely be the ones to get traded this deadline. Bright future already for a rebuild that did not start with many assets whatsoever.

Our new FO knows what they’re doing for sure, starting from when they flipped CP3’s contract for Poole to them cooking in this draft. Not to mention Vukcevic who I think could be a really good pair with Sarr once they both add some muscle. The 2025 draft could get us the star we need too to shape up what our competitive core guys will look like

Very good draft for them. And it seems like they might be actually prioritizing youth instead of drafting players and putting them behind vets. Bub and coulibaly will have great synergy.

I’m blown away that he hasn’t received an Anthony Davis comparison.. especially coming out of college the two are identical. Davis was a rim running athletic big who can handle the ball abit and a developing jumper. I see the same thing here… build is similar just taller.

Two picks in one of the weakest draft classes of all time does not give the wizards one of the strongest young cores in the league. I can name like 25 other teams with a better future than them.

Couple of things.......Sarr would have gone top 5 in just about ANY draft. Players with his height, length, mobility and defensive skills always go high. Look at the players he's most compared to, Evan Mobley (3rd pick) and Jeran Jackson Jr (4th pick). Also no matter how "weak" a draft is there will be All Stars from it. Just gotta find them. Sarr most definitely and possibly Bub if he continues to develop could be. Again could be.......those two are definitely good pieces to have for a team in a rebuild and that wants to build via the draft.
