One way the Wesley twins made Umbridge's (and Filch's) life more difficult was with their portable swamp. None of the other professors helped her and she couldn't manage to remove it from the corridor, which left Filch stuck with the duty of ferrying students across it.

I'm so happy to finally see a portable swamp in a box. This is so genius and it kind of is such a small detail of the whole story, people forget about it. It was when Umbridge made the rule about teachers not being allowed to talk to students about anything apart from their subject. So when she couldn't remove the swamp herself she asked the other teachers but they said it has nothing to do with their subject so they "are not allowed to remove it". When Umbridge was gone they immediately removed all of the Wizarding Wheezes including the swamp. But Professor Flitwick left a bit of it because he thought it was a good piece of magic. So up to now there is still a little bit of portable swamp in Hogwarts in honor of the twins. I love this so much!! And I'm so happy it finally finds apprrciation in a box. ❤💫

The toffee filled eggs are from the books! Either Goblet of Fire where Molly sends Ron and Harry huge toffee filled eggs and Hermione a tiny one (because of the article where Hermione is said to have broken Harry's heart) or Halfblood Prince where Ginny brings Harry's egg to the library and Mme Pince throws a fit. I've always imagined them to be like Cadbury's Cream Eggs.

The Portable Swamp is from the absolute best Weasley Twin moment in the books. It's the whole exit, "Give her hell from us, Peeves" gloriousness. That potion wins the whole darn box.

I'll never forgive them for totally cutting that plot from the movies. It's my absolute favorite scene on the all 7 books.

Rita looks like a ninja turtle 🪲 🐢🤣😭 I was dying when I saw her lil face! I like the potion and I'm always a fan of the Enchanter magazine. The level of detail is so great to see! I was nicely surprised to see that they included a portrait of Lupin. I feel like his character is not represented that much in subscription boxes I've seen you open.

When I opened my box and saw Trevor peeking out at me, it just put a huge smile on my face. I really enjoyed this one.

You should start a portraits only pin board. Arranged to kinda look like a wall at Hogwarts! The Lupin portrait would have been way cooler in lenticular, Lupin/werewolf !!!

the portable swamp is in book 5 when the twins leave hogwarts and leave a swamp that the teachers pretend not to be able to remove to annoy dolores ^^ the twin sell them at their shop.

Might be time to have a little book reading session to refresh your memories.

Cherry, that jumper (sweater) is to die for and I want one! Where can I procure one? My Trevor and I are watching this together. Read the Order of the Phoenix and you will find out what to do with the swamp. I like my glass and straw. It keeps me hydrated on the road. The purse is super as well. Since Hermione was the one who caught Rita, she probably put her in the bag first, then in the magic jar! The shirt is Shell Cottage! This box was pretty fine!

The glass tumbler would look amazing with little fairy lights inside 😊

I would watch if you have magic kitchen episodes, where you try the recipes from these trunks or recreate harry potter themed goodies!

For as little as Trevor is mentioned in Harry Potter, Trevor is a very memorable and lovable Harry Potter character.

In Sweden we also fill Easter eggs with candy! They can be plastic but they’re mostly made of cardboard and are painted with beautiful pictures ☺️

I remember it being a quest in the Order of the Phoenix video game where you went to various parts of the castle assisting Fred and George with setting off their Portable Swamps by casting Incendio or Reducto.

Rita is in the bag because Hermione put her in there. It took me a moment to remember from the books lol

Was thinking adding the tea light in the tumbler (minus the wooden lid), to light up the stag protector would make that a stronger item in the box. 😊🩵

Since the cheat sheet suggests drinking with the glass to "illuminate" the protector, I wonder if the pattern printed on the glass will change its color based on the temperature of the beverage. 🤔🤔🤔

You have the straw backwards. The one with the ring end is like a stopper to stop it from falling out of the cup/lid

@@DollyAnna No it's supposed to go with the ring at the top. That way the straw stays in the lid when lifting the lid. The melted side is not the side you are supposed to drink from.

@@tilanaclaydon1576 It would only fall out if you put the cup upside down. But then your drink would fall out too. It's more usefull to be able to lift the lid and the straw together, to make filling the cup easier. Having the ring at the top just makes more sense.

Love the nails. Always minimalist but some design that pops.

I didn't know you were an Aries, too. I'd say my favorite thing in this box is the phoenix print, because I would actually hang that in my room. I have the phoenix wand, so it would go nicely.

Can't find the words to describe how much I love your videos like this Cherry! Such a magical and cozy atmosphere

The Portable Swamp was very funny, a great piece of advance magic pulled off by Fred and George Weasley , to tork off Umbrige as the boys were leaving school. After they left Umbridge could not remove it. Hahaaa and Filtch hand to ferry students across it. Prof. Flitwick was asked to get rid of it and he mostly did but he left a small patch under a window as a tribute to Fred and George and lied and said he could not get rid of that bit.

In the Hispanic/Latino community (like Mexican American) in the Southern U.S. we carefully empty out the egg, dip them in colorful paint, and fill them with confetti. We use tissue paper to seal the hole. They’re called cascarones. Then during Easter we hide them all over for the kids to find and then once the hunt is over 😈 everyone runs around cracking the eggs on each other heads. Confetti everywhere!! It’s an amazing tradition and tons of fun for the little ones.

I like the idea of using the cup with a tea light instead of drinking out of it. Your unboxing videos are some of my favorites as your responses and reactions are definitely worth enjoying. I love the Rita Skeeter bug. But I think I would be tempted to paint her glasses green.

I loved the box although the Rita beetle is hideous, Its head looks like ninja turtle. :D The Portable swamp potion saved the box honestly. The glass tumblr feels like any other HP themed Wish tumblr, not something I would want to find in a special edition mystery box.

The glass with the stag on it is called a Libbey Glass Tumbler. The straw is shaped like that so it isn't as likely to just slip all the way out from lid, at least not easily. You put the weird end in the glass so the smooth end is what you drink from. I may be wrong but I suspect that the blue might change colors when you add a cool/iced beverage to the glass. Because that would be a little magical. Give is a try and let us know! 😊

From the looks the bag the t-shirt came in is a resealable, which means reusable, bag not a one time use bag.

I really like the charm on the portable swamp. With the potions, though, I wish they made them something usable, not just display pieces

I think I would have been disappointed with this box. I think there are better items they could have used . I did like glass but not much else really impressed me

I think I’d use the glass not to drink out of but to lose the lid and put in a tea light candle .

EDIT: yes they do sell individual items on their site including the magazines and bestiary pages. The magazines are my favorite things. I wonder if they sell them as individual items on their site.
