I feel like she’s be better for glinda

You can tell based on her vocal/stylistic choices that, like most of us, she’s listened to Jessica Vosk’s version of this the most! 😅 This is a VERY close second to that for me and that’s saying a lot because Vosk is a perfect Elphie, but Rachel is AMAZING 🤩

No. She *could* have been Elphaba in the movie, sure, but Cynthia Erivo has the part and is equally as talented. Don't bring a talented woman down when raising another one up.

@@johnathantaylor5913 ... I'm not trying to put Cynthia down. I think she's very talented. I'm saying that I think Rachel is a better fit for the part. Just because I think someone else should be Elphaba doesn't mean that I dislike the other actress

​@@Emma.Lou1 I mean, sure -- but now imagine you're working in whatever career you're working in right now (providing you have one) and random people comment: "Oh, Emma shouldn't be there, it should be Samantha instead -- Samantha is just a better fit than Emma." All I'm saying is you don't need to drag someone down to push someone up. "She'd make a great Elphaba" is just as valid without being disparaging to others.

Yeah, she'd be a GREAT Elphaba. She can DEFINITELY sing it.

I also can't really hit that lowest note in "the Wizard and I" - it's a crazy jump down, I can only even go one note lower in my register and it doesn't sound good at ALL rip I felt that pain

I see a future Elphie AND a future Galinda!!! :))
