I think the "Bug" is intentional because at the end of the challenge it gives you the combination for a videolog and they talk about easter eggs, exploit and cheatcodes u.u So that's why they will never patch it.

After playing this game for three days straight and inches from throwing my tv out the window this video was a Godsend. Confirmed working as of 4th May 2021

As of 24-6-2020 (PS4, Version 1.05), this still works! However, there is a *VERY IMPORTANT TIP* that helped. I solved the second maze puzzle well over 20 times and I never got it work, until I used that tip. I did it first try with it! Here it is: When you're about to start the challenge, prepare a timer on your phone or somewhere. The moment you press X to start the music box you simultaneously start the timer. EXACTLY the same time. By the time you're at the 2nd maze puzzle and are prepared to press X to solve it, look at your timer. Ignore the music. You will press X at exactly 6:39.

Thank you very much, this challenge made me crazy. I did it on ps5, 20 December 2021 and it works. You really have to do the puzzle at the very last time, i counted 4seconds after the music stop

You absolute hero! This still works 27/09/2020. I had trouble getting it for the first couple times, but then used a stopwatch. From the time you start, you have to complete the last puzzle at 6:40...I started the stop watch going waited 5secs to start the music and then was ready at 6:45 on the last puzzle...worked perfectly and saves counting

@@HB-qq7bh To be honest, after I got the platinum I deleted the game from my console. If you use the stop watch trick though then it should be pretty straightforward with a couple of practice runs.

March 2021 - Worked like a charm. I would have failed on the last puzzle trying it legit.

what an effin life saver man.. to be honest, I followed a guide to get this "supposed easy platinum" and come to find out this specific trophy was not part of the guide. I finally understood why after I spent a few hours trying to get it legit and kept making it to the pillars at the end. After a few days of trying, I just gave up but then got determined again to get it and found this video, did it 2nd try, and got the platinum.

It’s worked!! And in last room I failed a few times but it didn’t turn off !! Thank u a lot !!!!! After 1 year finally i got it!!!!!!!xD

This glitch works on PS5 if anyone would wonder. You just need to finish the maze puzzle right before it turns off, it took me 3,5 seconds (or 3 beats of the music if you prefer and are able to count it precisely). Sweet, sweet platinum... I owe you a beer

I finally got my platinum after 2 years, I'm just surprised that this STILL works. Thanks for the video 👍👍 Edit - You can fail on the last room as many times as you want (took me about 10 minutes to solve both puzzles), as long as you've performed the glitch.

Yay I completed it! Thanks so much! I actually did it twice. The first time when the triangle maze puzzle disappeared I just assumed that I failed the glitch, so I did it again (eventually). But no, I just should've checked the final room.

OOOOooohhhh my gosh, this was EXACTLY what I needed. I would always get to the maze and fail because of the pressure. When I attempted the glitch I got it first try when I made it to the maze - and I got the plat! Thank you so much!!

This was amazingly helpful, took several tries to get, but it still works as of 12/22/21

This glitch definitely works (great find by the way!) but it will prevent you from getting all 523 puzzles for 100%. Every puzzle contained in the Challenge adds 1 to your total puzzle count, so using this glitch you don't get credit for the 2nd arrow puzzle and the last 2 pillar puzzles so you'll be stuck at 520/523 total puzzles.

Entering May 2021 this glitch still works! TYSM It didn't work for me until my 4th try, set a timer when the music stops so you now exactly when to complete the second triangle puzzle between 3/4s

The problem is I can't even pass 5th or 6th puzzle lol

January 2022 and i just unlocked plat after 4 YEARS* from my endgame trophy. If your struggling at timing your last triangle puzzle do this: You need to activate last puzzle 4 seconds after the music stops. To time it right, practice by watching any lit panel and count how long before they shut after the music

2023/12/10 Glitch still works. There is hope in the world.

It still works, I finally got the platinum trophy thanks to this today (May 11th, 2021). Thanks a lot!

Works!! If anyones having issues try timing the 3sec with a stop watch. For some reason I can't count for my life but using a stop watch right when the music ended and then pressing X at 3 sec worked first try. 28/3/21 (PS5)

Is it just me or there are some pieces that can't be selected using the tetris solver?

Still works on October 30th. My tip is to start a 4 second timer exactly when the music stops and press X when the timer hits zero. Got it the first time with this method. If you fail you can also record a video and practice the right timing.

The glitch still works, September 2022. You really are a hero, after about 60 tries I managed to get through the maze, would have done it sooner if I had only pressed the button a millisecond earlier so I screwed up and it took about 20 more tries before I passed the maze . I don't understand how you can manage it without using the glitch because I had about a minute max to spare when I was waiting for the music to finish playing, it's basically an "impossible" challenge. This is probably my hardest platinum ever, I never play puzzle games but I just finished Unravel and going from that to The Witness is kind of like trying to eat rocks without teeth, this 'challenge' ' was like getting a kick in the crotch or a real bitch slap. But I think the worst thing about this game is probably that you don't get any information on how to solve all the different puzzles, but you have to try to figure it out yourself and many are very tricky and difficult, but the most difficult were them in the challenge of course But thanks again because I could never have done it without your help, not all heroes wear cape, and you are a real hero my friend! :D

Yeeeesssssssssss thank you sooo much finally i can delete this game after I got the platinum! Guys set a 6 min 39 sec timer and start it as soon as you start the music box and you'll be Gucci. I did it with my TV muted. And got it first try.

Can confirm, that it works with Version 1.05 (1st May 2021). Who have problems with the timing: set a timer with 6:39 Minutes and start it, when you press X to start the music. At the end, when the timer reaches 0, activate the 2nd triangle puzzle. There are only a few milliseconds before the screen gets black. Also don't give up. Most of the puzzles also require a bit of luck, while the 2nd 3 monitors could easily be resetted, to maybe get some easier. Also there are 2 which are impossible to solve, if you make a mistake on one of them, only the correct one stays, else all 3 would go black and you have to redrawn the line of the former puzzle.

I set a timer that started just after I started the music box, no sound just the yellow light to say it's come on then hit start on my timer. The last triangle puzzle went out 2 seconds before my timer finished :D

Dear all: this is tested and successfully works as of 4 Jul 2020. I’m totally amazed how did you even find this shit? It seems like the screen turn off about 4 secs after the music stops, so if you manage to solve 2nd arrow puzzle in that moment, it will send the signal to turn the last two pillars on while also turning everything off; since the game never checks twice for the timer, the last pillars will turn on after the killswitch and stay on forever. Absolutely brilliant idea. The only problem I’ve had is that some of the bomb/tetris and multicolor cube puzzles don’t make sense, they seem unsolvable because I’m missing some unknown rule. So I ended up spending 4 hrs trying this on and on until I got the set of puzzles I could solve. Triggered the glitch on my 3rd attempt. Advice: when the very last beat of “Nutcracker” drops, count that as ONE and keep counting with “thousand” intermission up to FOUR, then hit the button not on four but a moment after that. Worked like a charm.

Glitch still works as of March 31st!! I did the glitch correctly on my 2nd try. For me, it worked when I counted to 4 seconds after the music stopped. It also helps to calm down your nerves, so if you're waiting for the music to stop, take a deep breath because you're going to need to concentrate when counting. I had WAYYYY too many nerves on my 1st and therefore had to do it a 2nd time lol. Thanks so much for the great explanation Matrix Army!!

Woooohooo got my plat took me a couple of hours to finally reached the mazed and did the glitch my first try. It was a very close one, almost did not make it as I was still solving the 2nd triangle puzzle while the music about to end. Ooof, glad that was over. Working as of September 27, 2022.

@@MrDaantjuh13 It really is luck sometimes. For me, everything was fine until the "trick" puzzles where there are 3 and you have to pick 1 and do that once more. But, sometimes when you're totally in the moment, your adrenaline will take over and it'll work. I also mis-timed the ending (where we have to wait with triangle puzzle in the maze) so I had to do it all over again so I suggest sync-ing the music at the end to the video and completing the puzzle exactly when OP does. Otherwise, good luck!

Next decent run was nowhere near done but I got the last triangles at the death and thought I'd have a crack at this glitch. Sure enough, pillars active. The first of which was AWFUL, took longer than the whole allotted time! Second was piss easy, a platinum I didn't think I'd be getting so soon.

As shown in the video. You need to get through most of the puzzles and solve the second triangle puzzle about 3 seconds after the music ends, seemingly the time taken for the stylus to lift off the record and reset itself. Alternatively time 6:39 (I I think!) from when you start the challenge. You need to be reasonably good to get this far through. Or you can get better still and do it for real...

This has definitely worked [4th May 2021]. I want to thank you for the hyperlink to solving the triangle puzzles. That and the tetris style puzzle were the only two I struggled the most in this challenge. Edit: I got the trophy. All that's left to do is explore, draw six hexagonal shapes, finish the game and uninstall.

Not sure if they patched the rest mode glitch, but on ps5 rest mode closes the game and restarts the challenge, so this was the next best thing. Worked first try (using a timer on my phone to count the three seconds) on March 31st 2021for the PS5. This video was a godsend. Getting there was the hardest part after finding this. Thanks a billion for posting!

Still works as of 14 June 2024. Coincidentally it was my only attempt with 2 minutes to spare somehow.

Thanks, Just got it on ps4 today. 21 Jan 2023 Timing the confirm press is the key. It worked after the 3rd try. I used a timer after the final drum hit for 3 seconds.

I don't know what I am doing wrong honestly. 3 times I counted 3/4 seconds after the music stopped and the pillar never showed. I play on PS5 could that make a difference? version 1.05 EDIT: I got it done!! I guess I was panicking and pressed x too early the other times. Thank you so much!
