They are both literally for monsters. In the books, Geralt only use silver sword on special kind of monsters and this silver sword is usually packed in Roach. Of course, normal sword is also useful for stuff not related to hunting monsters like self-defence etc. but no, this "both are for monsters" isn't just a metaphor.

Same. Never played a game where I immediately restarted after completing the story, except this one. Completed the story on Death March, restarted it on NG+ immediately on Death March and played through both DLC. The DLC were a no-brainer after the story. I don't understand how people don't like the game but can play Dark Souls (also best for the heck of it) which doesn't really have a story unless you read about it.

Feeling itself cornered, the Griffin prepares itself for its last stand, it ferociously growls at you. You draw your silver sword, provoking the beast even further, you take a step backwards, you feel uneasy for a slight second... what is this feeling? Hesitation? Fear? Most definitely not, you stared at death in the face countless times before. This... is something different, you can't quite put the finger on it, mutations have stripped you from emotion but you definitely feel it shiver down your spine. Tis the thrill of the hunt. @@youarealwayscorrect Grand Theft Auto V wasn't even that revolutionary, to be fair. They still mostly use the same elements from previous Grand Theft Auto titles. Same case for Red Dead Redemption 2. Rockstar doesn't really make things different or new. On the other hand, CDPR raised the bar for future RPG titles insanely high with the release of The Witcher 3, which can actually be called revolutionary.

There were high expectations for Gta V for sure, and it was an amazing game in the beginning, but then people realize it has some mechanics worse than Gta IV and sometimes even SA. RDR is almost the exact same... but with a way different theme.

Make it 10 hours. It will be the first 10 hour movie on KZread to be actually watched by someone from the begining to the end(me).

This game was probably the best game I've played since late 2013, and probably my second or third favourite game ever. I finished it yesterday, and I'm immediately going back into it to replay it, to try and make a couple of different choices. I bloody love this game!

The witcher 3 is an incredible game in so many ways but I think the music in this game is sooo good. My favorite soundtrack in a video game in a long long time by far.

I love how geralt is the likable person in witcher & humans are worse than monsters
