Yo I'm 51 and I totally had the NFL sheets back in the late 70's.. They had a picture of a player from every team in an action pose, I loved them.. Thanks, Ma!!!!

My brother and I got Vikings knit hats with the patch on the "forehead" and giant pom-pom on top, and when we moved from Minnesota to Virginia, the kids woukd grab our pom-poms to rip our hats off our heads and we would have to chase the kids down to get our hats back. After a time, we also became Redskins fans. We are 58 and 60 years of age now. Oh, the memories attached to gifts from the highly-coveted Sears Catalog!!

Circled so much from the Real Ghostbusters, but loved all the NFL gear - my favorite was a Kelly green Philadelphia Eagles Cunningham Hutch set with the jersey, helmet, pants and shoulder pads. I felt invincible every time I put that on! Now I'm a Steelers fan haha - my dad couldn't stand the sight of the Eagles gear and promptly converted me. The Bulls and Charlotte Hornets Starter jackets were the most popular for sure - I wanted one so bad and never got it. Very thankful Starter came back and started making the throwbacks!

Sears was where my clothes are bought. Ford city mall Chicago was a dumb after that. Don’t remember if it was connected to the mall or it was a stand alone mall
