the Wire Season 2 Episode 3 Reaction/Commentary.... I have hope we can find her name ❤️

Ойындар

This episode still feels like they're giving us the setting so we can learn the characters and locations involved in this season. I appreciate a show that can spend time and let the viewer understand the background of their characters.

I know a lot of us binge watched the Wire but it didn’t all come out all at once, so slow rolling it a bit is watching it as it was first released. We’re here to see her reaction and if that’s a bit heavier and more personal it is what it is. There’s a few bread crumbs she’s not picking up on but many (probably even most) viewers miss them on the first watch. The reactions are still really fresh for being solo and not being spoiled or trending toward a bunch of the same perspective by researching but rather just reasonably well informed and attentive.

Clay Davis is one of the most hateable figures in this whole show, and he's not even a murderer.

What's galling is that Stringer has been carrying on with Donette while at the same time telling her to visit D in prison to remind him that "he's family."

Welcome back Jan, Your Wire Fans miss you. Please don't forget us, visit more often. Please do more reactions so you don't lose touch with the Wire and how good of a show it is. Yes it's gritty but in reality it's real. Many cities have a Avon or McNulty, Stringer, Kima and D'Angelo. Stay tuned "All the pieces matter"😉

stringer was absolutely correct to drop the nokia and motorola stocks lol. as we know now, in just a couple years time from when this episode aired the first iphone would be released, followed by the android. talk about market saturation- in america, over 95% of cell-phone owners have a smartphone, and over 50% of those are iphones (around 25-30% of the rest are android of some sort- most of them being Samsung). Stringer, and by extension the writers of this series, actually told the future with that stock tip lol just not for the reason they wrote; the opposite actually

See Jan I just started watching and since you haven't been watching your not paying attention. When you watched at least three episodes then you caught on to the flow of the show. The ship and asking for money, was whoever watched the girls was pimpin them to The passengers. That's one thing. One of the guys walked right by them and Lester peeped it.

Jan when you regularly watched season 1 you understood to keep your personal feelings out of it. First it's not real it's a TV show no one really dies or get hurt. So you'll enjoy the writing and the characters more if you don't allow every little thing to get to you. Come on Jan you were great last season.

I thinkit might be harder for McNulty's wife than it is for Jimmy, honestly. He seems to dump himself into drinking and his work. It'd probably be easier if they didn't have children. She's the one pushing forward and it's most likely in her best interest. The things that make Jimmy good at his job a lot of the time are not good qualities in a husband and father.
