nice match with lots of fine technical play by all players. if you look @the rally at 6:05 you see lyd defending with lifts to the right-handed players' left side. he only lifts to the right side when he has moved opponents toward their left side, then lyd's partner lifts directly to the opponents' right side instead of deep into their left corner and the lift is immediately punished. what you see there is a difference in tactical awareness between lyd and his partner, who is also very skilled and is faster and harder-hitting than lyd, but is not working as hard to process the tactical situation like lyd does in another example @19:18 lyd has lifted to his opponents' right corner and prepares to defend. the wongkang player moves to the shuttle but does not really get behind it-- the shuttle is kinda off to his side. notice lyd's stance. as a right-hander in this situation i would likely have my left leg slight behind to give myself flexibility to cover a smash down the line. that is not what lyd does. seeing the attacker is not fully behind the shuttle, he has his left leg slightly forward. why does he do that? is he being reckless? no, he knows the smash will have limited power because his opponent has not gotten directly behind it, and he wants to leverage this into an 'attacking' reply. you look at the position of the wongkang players at this moment, and it's textbook perfect, but the cross-reply from lyd bypasses their defenses, again demonstrating super-sensory tactical awareness by lyd. you might think, he just made a good cross reply, and yes he did, but look at all the careful observation and instantaneous processing of information that goes into a shot like that what happens after that shows a little inexperience by the wonkang players. as the cross-reply passes the front player, he continues to chase it. that's a mistake. there's no way a front player can do anything with that kind of shot once it has passed him. so when his partner runs across and makes a reply, they are both in their left court and cant reach the next cross, this time from lee sang-min, to their right court. the better choice for that front player would have been to stop moving the moment he knows the shuttle is going to pass him and stay pretty much where he is, ready to move explosively if necessary. in other words, his best defense there was to do nothing. point it out only as something to possibly be learned from. wongkang played very well and should consider themselves winners finally, a comment about the filming. this is BWF-style filming where the camera is elevated and you can see the whole court. i dont claim to know the best way to film badminton, but for sure the BWF way is the worst. the court is squished into a square, destroying perspective and you cannot really understand what is happening in any fine detail. among the many terrible aspects of this kind of filming is you cannot see the quality of lifts. you have no idea if they are long or short and even the height is not clear, which means you lose the feel of the energy and cant really follow the match. the amateur videos i watch where a camera is at waist to shoulder level and off to one side, seem to me a much superior way of filming the sport. yes, you are sacrificing the near corner, which becomes a blind spot, but that seems a small price to pay for getting right in on the action where you can see every movement, the speed, the momentum, the elevation of heartrate and respiration, and the whole way that energy flows in field of battle. BWF films in that crappy way because some people believe it makes them look more professional, but the only ones who would believe that are people who dont really play and dont look much farther than who's winning or losing. BWF is also a subsidized monopoly and they dont have to extract maximum value from their product to stay in business. your channel is mostly for dedicated badminton nerds and you're bringing some real talent. let's see it the way it's meant to be seen, like what you see when you're watching from courtside , not a lot of clever switching back and forth between cameras and fancy editing, but more straight, steady shots into the action from court level. thanks for the great content

we normally think of the steep smash as the best. but on these smashes down the line, lyd wants to avoid the high-energy high lift, push opponents back a little, and force lower, weaker replies. so, could be at the body but not necessarily, but a little higher and flatter. then when there is a little weakness in the reply, lee sang-min strikes steeply to center and then cross-court for the winner

와 원광대 배드민턴 원티어 대학교였네 ㄷㄷ 의대 원툴인줄 알았더니 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

아무리 그래도 야새끼 ㅋㅋㅋ 나같아돟ㅎ 그럴듯 ㅋㅋ 재미있게 보고있습니다 ㅋㅋ

용대선수 자신감있고 환하게 웃으면서 재미있기 경기하는 모습은 너무 보기 좋아요. 하지만 경기중 심판보는 학생에게 막말하는 모습은 불편했습니다. 그 학생들도 존중하는 모습을 보여주시면 감사하겠습니다.

용대선수 다리가 많이 느려지신듯 ㅋㅋ 코치감투때문일까요??? ㅋㅋ 더 박진감넘치는 경기 부탁드려요

모든 동호회라고 말하진 않겠지만 많은 수의 배드민턴 동호회가 신입회원들에게 텃세? 무시? 하여튼 해본 취미 중에 가장 기분 나빴던게 배드민턴이였다. 물론 배드민턴, 테니스 같은게 실력차가 쉽게 줄어들지않아서 그들만의 리그가 되는게 자연스럽다고는 하지만 아무튼 배드민턴 동호회는 정말 기분 나쁜 경험이였다.

@@Zxcv208 당연히 그런거야 감안을 하지. 신입회원이 오면 신입회원들이 잘 적응할수있도록 뭔가가 있어야되는데 그냥 뭐 돈만받고 끝내는 느낌이였다는거지. 누가 들어가자마자 고수랑 치자 이런건 아니니까...자기들끼리 몰려다니면서 자기들끼리 치면서 하여튼 자기들끼리 하는것들이 강하니까 배드민턴 동호회 몇군데를 돌아봐도 늘 초보~중간 정도되는 분들은 소외되고 동호회자체가 분열이 많이 되있더라고

@@wasjeud 이해를 못하시는거같은데 누가 입부하자마자 고수들이랑 치자 이런게 아니라 동호회라면 그들만의 리그가 되는게 아니라 그래도 초보자 중급자 고급자들이 다같이 동호회원이라는 느낌을 가질수있도록 프로그램을 짜든지 아니면 본인들 치다가 중간 중간 코칭도 해준다던지 중급자를 고수들과 같이 편먹고 친다던지 친목을 위한 프로그램도 갖춰야한다는거죠. 그냥 너희 와서 돈이나내고 뭐 알아서 놀다가 이런게 잘못됐다는거.

댓글까지 보고서 글 남깁니다. 말씀하신 내용이 지속적으로 문제가 되는것도 사실입니다. 하지만 동호회 비용은 누구나 같은 돈을 내고 해당 시간에 운동을 하기 위해서 입니다. 누군가가 초보자들을 꼭 쳐줘야 하고 챙겨줘야 하는 의무는 어디에도 없죠. 그런걸 원하신다면 요즘은 아카데미쪽으로 가시는게 좋아보입니다. 추가로 초보자시면 누군가가 쳐주길 바라기만 하지말고 먼저 적극적으로 배움을 요청하면 거절하는 사람이 많지 않을것입니다.

@@TV-iz2sb 다들 착각하는거같은데 초보자들 쳐줘라는 단순한 이야기가 아니라 동호회라면 다같은 회원들은데 그들만 회원인냥 하는 모습들이 좋지않다는걸 이야기하는겁니다. 그 일례로 초보자들은 아주 뭐 짐짝취급하는 투명인간취급하는 그런걸 든것이구요. 다같이 즐기자고 동호회 회원 모집하는거 아닌가요? 초보자는 아카데미로 가라? 그럴꺼면 동호회 회원 받을때 왕초보는 왜 받음? 뭐 님을 비난하려고하는건 아니지만 전반적인 배드민턴 동호회 회장 및 운영하는 사람들이 한번 뒤돌아봐야된다는걸 이야기하고 싶은겁니다. 결국 이런 현상들이 고쳐지지 않는다면 언제까지나 배드민턴은 마이너한 종목으로 남을수 밖에 없는것이죠. 저변확대가 되어야 본인들에게도 좋을텐데 뭐 그까지는 너무 간건가 싶기도하고 뭐. 그래요 아무튼.
