The domino community is so lovely and respectful and positive to each other. Fantastic to see.

congratulations to the stylists! This was such a fun project to be part of and i’m so happy how it turned out!

And that's a wrap! I want to give a big thank you to Lily for hosting the event, Tim for editing the show, Nathan and Joni for being such amazing competition, and to #Stylist for life Wasilja for being an amazing teammate! The new dominoes and accessories will definitely go to good use! While going through this build it seemed like the Shakers probably had the win in the bag, this was kinda the group consensus, and even though I didn't have the same strength of originality and color combining as Nathan and Joni did, I did rely on my personal strength to make a reliable setup. What you didn't see was that some of our tricks like the herringbone tower and the tall structure were supposed to be more complex with some multi use elements incorporated. However as we kept on building, the Stylists thought it would be too risky to do that because of spacing issues and reliability issues. I thought there were a few elements of the Shaker's setup that was a little risky so we chose to focus on making our setup reliable and flow really well. In the end, this strategy paid off and I'm super happy about the come from behind victory!

Something I liked about the first half of the Stylists' was just the sound patterns too.

I will pick team stylist because I really love the spiral they made

It was such a close race. What you maybe didn't see is that Lily and I talked for over an hour in order to decide who's gonna win. And we didn't want to have a tie. Team Shakers had a lead before the fall down. But in the end, for me, it came down to how important it is not having a full stop. And in the domino community, we have very different opinions on that. Some builders actually don't care at all if there's a full stop in a live setup. They just give it a little push and it keeps going. Other builders would never even upload an entire domino project video if it had a full stop in it. So we have all ends of the spectrum regarding opinions on full stops. But regardless of who won, thank you all for this amazing domino battle!

It certainly was a tough call! But yeah, the full stop mattered quite a lot and made all the difference in this competition. Getting a setup to work all the way through is always the goal.

I personally think the full stop of the shakers is less problematic than the impurity in the stylist's field since the full stop can be edited and disappear which is why I would have given it to the shakers, because I think how it looks in the edited video is also a criteria. However the stylists did such an amazing job too. Honestly, to me it was perfectly equal.

that is an interesting point of view. I wouldn't have considered how it will look after editing as criteria. to me, it's more about how it actually works in real life.

Congratulations to to my friends Michael and Wasilja from the Stylists! You are definitely a worthy winner of the Ultimate Domino Battle! This has been one of my favorite domino projects ever to be a part of! Thank you Lily for hosting this event, thank you to you and Joel for judging and a great thanks to Nathan for beeing the best teammate! I had a blast building with you! :D This is episode is definitely a worthy finale to the series!

Aww, I missed the premiere, but congrats to the Stylists! They both had amazing setups! I enjoyed this series so much! I hope you’ll do something like this again in the near future!

This was an awesome series! Watching both of these setups and teams grow over the span of five weeks was just so cool! Plus, I'm gonna be honest, you guys cut that fail really well! I did not see that coming and I didn't expect it to fail! I'm so happy to have followed this series and I hope this makes some kind of come back soon :D keep up the great work Lily!

My assessment was that ironically the Shakers won on style, but the Stylists won on the effects and accuracy of how it fell (the “shaking” if you will). The purple spirals were the most memorable part of the setup-such an amazing effect! When is Season 2 coming out?

A few days ago,I have bought a set of dominoes and I kept it in my closet because I didn't like playing with the dominoes.3 or 4 years later,during the logdown,I had nothing to do,so I played with the dominoes.Then,I loved playing with the dominoes every day,even if I never thought about creating a KZread channel.And then,I have heard about Hevesh5 and your channel.When I saw your videos,I have found my dream .So I started my KZread channel a few days ago .You can check it if you want(there are also piano videos)So,believe in your dreams,and the most important,be patient,and your life will be successful.Thank you very much for Hevesh5.And I was for the Stylists because their spiral was amazing.

I hate that someone HAD to win and someone else HAD to lose, but I have to admit I really loved that big purple spiral. :-) If it weren't for that full stop, I'd have called it a dead heat!

This was awesome! Thanks Lily, and all the builders/contestants. Congrats to the Stylists! Did anyone get around to analyzing why it was the stop occurred? It did seem like it was a very unusual fail. I am curious as to why it happened. Looking forward to a 2nd installment if you decide to do it!

I saw a different video Lily did where she talked about how you can over-stabilize a tower to the point where it won't fall down. Something about the weight, IIRC ...

I am glad I was not judging. I thought both setups looked so good. I would love to see more competitions.

Awesome series! 👍 And I agree with the decision on the winner. It's a tough choice with 2 great setups but I agree that a full stop is not easy overlooked. A domino setup is supposed to work... 🙂

Hey Hevesh , Your Domino game show is Great ! Can you make it Yearly? Could you organize a Incredible Domino Battle 2021? 3 Team of 3 will start with 10.000 dominoes , but they can earn more dominoes by playing some challenges (domino race , throw a domino through the cup , throw ping pong ball or domino stacking) . They have 3 days of work , first two days has challenges.

Did anyone else notice that when the aesthetics category went off to the side, the numbers switched?

I was leaning to the stylists for the presentation of the fall before knowing about the full stop. The visual of the Stylists was better, even if the setup for the Shakers was cooler.

Hello Hevesh 5 I am a big fan of yours and I respect you very much in your beautiful creations. I have a couple of things to ask you, for example, when you're going to force the falling walls off the first one I try to imitate but I can never drop them all. Maybe because they will be too heavy but with the towers I can. Second thing : you and your team usually rehearse for some more complicated dominoes?. Third thing: how many years you build very large dominoes? If some kid asked you to join your domino team and that kid is around 11-12 years old, you'd let him join your domino team even if it comes from another country Thank you

It took too long in announcing the winners. I forgot who I said I was rooting for. I have a TBI so my concentration level is shorter than most people. I think it was for the Shakers. It was an excellent competition though and the judging was good!

Well l can't decided which team l prefer because the Judges you weren't in the battle so l'm comsused to decide because l loved both of the teams so l can't decide. With smaller words, l vote both of them.
