The Windsurfer - Wild & Stormy Maui Raw and Unfiltered
Спорт
Rarely do the sky over Maui turn black with strong winds howling in from the North. It's chilly and messy but I love the adventure of the wild seas which fill me with energy. This video was filmed at Kanaha Beach Park on the North Shore of Maui.

I have never seen better windsurf "filming sessions" like you are doing. It's awesome. As other says, it's like I was windsurfing too. Really great to watch and to "feel", thanks from France.
Best POV windsurfing
'Stormy' Riding a 5.0 Thats not stormy, thats a pleasant summer onshore day where im from!😂 Otherwise awesome video!
I love your videos they are exactly what it’s like, of course not my skill level, yours off the charts. An the helpful comments that are keys to progressing thank you so much for sharing with us wannabes
Absolutely beautiful views. Amazing rides.
Great filming and sailing, fantastic to watch this from the other side of the globe - a great inspiration to go out in our similar onshore conditions here in Sweden- flat water between the waves and the anticipation of the fast approaching ramp to jump off!

I am being U 55 mph winds brothers 🎉
I am a senior who used to windsurf a lot when I was younger. I traveled to Maui once too and surfed that beach. Watching your video made me feel like I am back at the beach windsurfing (except I couldn't do loop haha). So fun! Thank you!

Just discovered your channel, love it! Greetings from northern Germany/southern Denmark!
great video. super fun to watch! keep em coming!
Thanks! Your videos are all amazing!
Nice footage, also love the commentary, it is funny we probably all speak out or think the same in the water! Aloha from Loutsa Greece🤙
Epic videos! Mahalo, definitely feel it with your POV camera.
I really enjoyed this session, my local spot is onshore conditions similar to this, but the waves are less defined, but even so, its easy to relate to what your angle is, our spot is mostly more onshore though, sometimes it's cross-on and that when I have tried a few backies. You have it down, and also confirm for me that the right ramp is super important. Nice back-side slashes and hits too......Despite it being stormy, it doesn't look cold!! I'm learning a lot from your videos, thank you for posting!!
Very cool! Love it 👌
Great video , greetings from Eslovaquia and Spain😊
Great stuff
Love the camera work. Now I know what I look like on the water. Even if it is from South Australia.
Frickn awesome buddy.
Bellissimo 🤙
That board stays down nicely. I haven't windsurfed in years but use to be an addicted windsurfer in the days of fiberglass. the epoxy boards were stiff and not as fun then. It looks like they have improved greatly. 5.0 pretty big sail. I'm guessing 22-25 mph by the look of it. Pretty flat water there. Maybe more like 20-22. The board look floaty but shorter.
bro the video is awesome, i fell down this awesome spot its amaizing i wanted to be there...
I love your videos. It would be great to see some more tricks because you look good !
😭 have been there and done this too.. nice memories ..
🤙
Love the commentary. I’m always talking to myself when out on the water😂 Maui is definitely on my bucket list. I’m not a wave sailor (yet anyways : ). More of a freeride with occassional bump and jump thrown in. I heard Kanaha is the spot for that in the Summer months? Any recommendations?
did you teach yourself all these turns and tricks or did someone show them to you?

I never took lessons but I learned a lot by watching and talking to my fellow sailors.

Awesome 👍🏻 At 16:50 where you do the tight jibe (slam jibe?) did you have both feet in the footstraps or only front?
@koav

Yes I began the jibe with both feet in and then slide the back foot out about halfway through the jibe.
Which is easier to learn? Windsurfing or kitesurfing?
