This is an amazing storyline of the white female wolves. It's amazing how the wolves can sence there is something wrong. The way that they hunt and look after each other is mind blowing...wolves are overall amazing animals and great parents...it's amazing tom see how they eat side-by-side a bear where it's useally known as threat to wolves.

I hope to see a follow-up sometime about the third white wolf! Very interesting that she didn't pursue 755 after he was chased off, but I think she did what was best to ensure her pups were cared for and protected. I'd love to see content about the Mali pack as well!
29:56 I find this extremely interesting and awe-inspiring that wolves can sense defects/ailments like this . .. this elk probably suffered for a long time from the teeth on that side. As someone who has felt the pain and aftermath of an abscess I can only imagine that going into the whole tooth and jawbone. The wolves in an ironic way have this elk one last mercy. Amazing animals

@Satanic Panic Fun and Games lol I guess you were unable to see the meaning behind the message. Thanks for being rude when no one else was. I am both black and white. So when I see what transpired with the wolves, I tend to try and see how humans can learn from this. And as a part of the human species, I know that certain actions, thoughts, and feelings help raise our vibrational levels. Putting us in a space of movement, instead of where we tend to be, stagnant. Like wolves, our main directives include self preservation. Young white wolf would not have made it. And it was smart, as she knows her home territory better than most. So her matching up with part of the other pack made sense. And It was her parents, the Alphas that were targeted. It shows that they are not bound as we are to our past in the same ways. Our ways tend to segregate and do quite a bit of emotional trauma. Humans are not good at the big picture. Some are, most are not. Our preservation goes mainly to self and less to fight for others including ourselves. This is as far as I want to go right now. Have a great day everyone 😀 and you too satan😁

I'm not a fan of these bears. With them being so large, I thought they were natural top predators (I always hear about bear attacks and not wolf attacks on humans), but it looks like they are mostly scavengers. I have far more respect for wolves now.

Grizzly bears re undoubtedly apex predators. They are the only predators in North America even remotely capable of taking down elk and moose alone. Imagine how much easier it would be to follow wolves and let them do the work? The bears are working smarter not harder. The same way wolves try to do.

They are natural top predators the fact they walk up to a pack of wolves and take they're food proves that in the wild the top predator has the last say also they can easier take down elk by themselves they just know they're no other animals in their area that can stop them if they take the food instead

Just finished watching. Beautiful animals. Ending was shocking (FYI- not for the faint of heart!) So very hard to watch, but, I guess that's life for these animals in the wild. Harsh reality for these creatures. Preservation of the majestic wildlife, and our National and State Parks is so very important! Once they're gone in the wild, they're gone, and there's no going back. This film is a great documentary record of something So Precious. 💞🌎🐺🐻🦌
It would be a horribly painful way for the elk to die at the jaws of the wolves. As he said, wolves don't have the jaw strength to kill their prey with one single bite to the throat, until mountain lions or other members of the cat family like tigers, lions and leopards. So these elk get repeated bitten and chewed on until they die of shock or severe internal bleeding. All in all, they sure do suffer.
