As a Hunter in the game you did yourself a hard time hunting. If you hunt buffalos I recommend the sharps rifle it one shots when you hit a headshot which means they dont ran away and you can kill them fast. For other animals i recommend the horse bow it shoots fast, it has good damage the best damage I did with it was 91 damage on headshot. The problem of the horse bow is that you need to learn how to draw it, if you draw it to slow you have lower damage output and so is if you draw it to long so you need master it. The best part of the bow is for me you dont need to reload (you just have to draw the bow which isnt long) which is op if you master the draw because you can just spam on the animals because you dont need to reload.
