Another person who spoke directly to Lincoln's ghost in the White House actually got a reply back. Lyndon Johnson was a wreck dealing with Viet Nam when he saw Lincoln. Too frazzled to register the oddity of seeing a ghost, he cried out, "Mr. Lincoln, do you have any advice for me on how to cope with an unpopular war?" Lincoln smiled and said, "Don't go to the theater."

I remember reading a book in school about White House ghost stories. Lincoln’s been seen many times, but most often in times of crisis. They could do tv show on that alone. There was a room he had wired with Telegraph lines to keep updates on the civil war progress. Whatever room that is he’s been seen there several times.

The Canadian Parliament building in Ottawa is amazing. I had been living in the Ottawa area for about half a year when I impulsively went for a tour. It was absolutely stunning. The old library with it's intricate (and highly flammable) woodwork. The walls which are made from fossil marked stone from Saskatchewan. The Peace Tower was also an amazing view. The most stunning thing to me was when I realized that Parliament was on a hill overlooking the river, and on the other side of the river was Quebec. I had never really paid attention, but looking across the water made the location of the compromise between British and French influences very clear. I went there on a whim with no expectations. I left thoroughly impressed.

My kid brother was Manager of White House Communications under the Clinton's, and arranged for me and our family to have a private tour. It's nice, but we missed out on all of the stuff that comes with the public tour. There is one doorway that was not painted over from the 1812 fire, and remains today as a testimony of the British occupation. And when I got out of the Army, I started work with a former Vietnam Helicopter Pilot. I asked about his roommate in Flight School, and he said he really didn't have one. This is because shortly after he began training, his former roommate was the one that stole a helicopter and decided to go on a tour of D.C., to include setting down on the White House lawn. Needless to say, my boss never saw or heard from him again, and he had the room to himself. More on my roommates later.

Back during the second Bush administration, my eighth grade class was supposed to visit the White House on our DC trip. I had done a report on the White House for class, so I was especially excited. However, the date we were supposed to go never happened. The Bushes chose that day to decorate their Christmas trees. The only saw the White House from the top of the Washington Monument, and I didn't get to see the building up close until 2018, when I was in DC for work. Would have liked to have taken a tour, but the website said you needed to give six months notice to the Secret Service so they could do an investigation into you. Maybe someday, though. It could happen.

The founder of Aikido, Morihei Uesiba, was roughly between the ages of 19 and 21 at that time. Likewise, O'Sensei didn't begin to formulate what we now know as Aikido until the 1920s and 1930s. I cannot speak as to whether Teddy Roosevelt studied judo or jiu-jitsu however. Aikdio is the only one of the three that I've actively trained in myself.

May I suggest Ottawa, Ontario Canada. From a log town to Canada's capital. It's also home to the Rideau canal which was a mega project 😉

Hey I love the video but you missed a huge part of the White House restoration during the Kennedy administration around the early 60s in which Jacqueline Kennedy restored the rooms to the way they look now. In the fifties the White House Interiors looked like common 1950s Suburban House with velvet mustard colored sofas and 50 style furniture during the Kennedy administration Jacqueline Kennedy restored most of the historic ground-floor rooms in an early American Style which included The Green Room the Blue Room the Red Room the white room in the yellow room. still think it's a great video but I would have loved to see more of this restoration because of the supposed to Rashun a lot of American History has been saved including furniture and paintings that have been retrieve from previous presidents to be in the White House Collection and it still has this collection to this day

I would be interested in a video of the 1993 Pantai Remis landslide in Malaysia where a major collapse of the sea wall was filmed on a fuzzy video camera and you could see the Strait of Malacca spilling in and making a new cove.
