Woah! Going places Sucharita! These sets look gorgeous and they play a huge role in world building too. The Tar Valon part of the story has been my favourite of season 2 so far.

We are 3 episodes in s2 and NOTHING happened so far apart from Nynaeve accepted trial. Most important events happened who knows when (Selene is instantly in relation with Rand who knows how, guys stabbed by lethal cursed dagger in s1 are fine and dandy somehow). To say they butchered and wasted source material is understatement. That said the sets and costumes are very good. Just fire all writing department and hire someone who actually read books, any random person who read it could do better job than current team.

Love to see Sucharita here, but no amount of promotion will make a bad/mediorcre adaptation better.

"[...] be authentic to the information we have in the books". THAT is a FREAKING JOKE.

I just wish you would piss off but hey I don't always get what I want. Tired of people saying source material this source material that. Go choke on your entitlement elsewhere and take your negativity too.

Thomas Napper talking about the "amazing team of writers and producers" gatekeeping the authenticity of the books..... made me throw up in my mouth a little. Watch Thomas talk about the authenticity of the books in the show from 7:05 onward. Look at his face. This is what it looks like when a man lies through his teeth because he has to. What a load of BS lol. It's been made clear in season 1, and especially in the current 3 episodes of season 2, that what happens in the books doesn't matter whatsoever. They've effectively made up their own very different version of the story, and it's really really bad. The show is obsessed with sex, polyamorous relationships, and female empowerment. Just listen to the first line of dialogue in this video "It's very important to have an amazing FEMALE cast". She could have just said cast, but no, its about the female cast, and this is clear throughout the entire series.
