The Wetlands of Walthamstow - BBC London News

More than 200 hectares of wetland have been regenerated around a Thames reservoir in Walthamstow, where you can experience the beauty of the countryside and watch kingfishers and herons. It now opened to the public for the first time in 150 years. BBC London’s Environment Correspondent Tom Edwards went to take a look.

How nice it would be if Nathaniel actually was a Power Ranger.

I 100% agree. Let's invest in what we've got and stop knocking down old sites!

It’s not a wildlife reserve it’s a park. Such great habitat and ruined by human disturbance. Needs a lot more intervention by people who know what they are doing before it can be called a nature reserve.
