Yes, that's intentional. It's meant to look like an old PS1 game. This style is called PSX.

yea, this game needed at least one jumpscare from keyholes, you know, maybe maniac camp him near the door and then poke his sneaky eye which is trying to discover the corridor or room behind the door, but that eye jumpscare geez bruh are ya serious...? Btw zero lore about maniac, all what we know it's zodiac-like satanist mf which is vewy vewy dangewous >;) and that he can build walls from zero, hide the doors by walls, bro is kinda magic man, anyway, spring rabbit had better games than that one

🤨 Not scary. It had all the usual horror cliches. Pentagram, spooky trees, spooky campsite, retro static having radio, abandoned factory, and a jump scare involving a maniac wearing a potato sack over his head. The Beechers Lasagna ad that interrupted this video was the only scary thing. Microwaved lasagna terrifies me.
