@@doncorleone3901 Western people prefer individual life and give more preference to it . I read it when we were taught about western society . They don't care much about family values and that's the reason why become independent at young age . But asian society is different. They give more importance to family values and achieving things , not just for themself but for their families as well.

@sidy6526 its one thing to want an independent life and quite another to make fun of and gaslight another that wants good family relationships with parents, uncles, sisters etc. And if you notice, a lot of Indian people are trying to do this in comments - they are making fun and project as uncool a mom that wants to cook for her son. This is not done. You can have your broken homes and pathetic depressed lives but we can also have great families where everyone loves another. Humans always lived in tribes and without a tribe you fall into depression.

@@doncorleone3901 Yeah I know. Infact when my brother left for his job , my father wanted to send my mother along with him , so that she can cook and take care of him . And my father said that he take care of his food by himself 😂 It's normal among indian families . The people who are commenting are just some Delhi and Mumbai young people. They live in their own world 😅

@@sidy6526Western people are more independent but it is totally untrue that they don't care about family life. Many of us care deeply about our families but our society is just structured differently. Also most parents want their children to be independent. They begin teaching them this from a young age because thats seen as being responsible and a good parent so that the child can be prepared in life.
