Wait this mob is actually amazing, really fresh in the horror creatures scene He's terrifying just because of his sheer scale, and the lore that he's like a mutant predator that feeds on other animals is great, the amount of ambiance and scary sounds and tension without just back to back jumpscares really sells it as a good horror mob

@@MSSHDMUSIC I like it but here's some things to consider, suggestions. Maybe make the whispers more subtle. Oh, and here's some weird behavior that people saw in IRL with deer/skinwalker. Have the windigo posses any mob or itself, and walk up to a hard place, trees, exposed stone, building, anything hard. Bash it's head against that place, have sound for the bashing, each bash slowly revealing it's skull, bloody too, then after 30 sec or 1 min, have it look at a player nearest in a few chunk radius, then let say in that players head only, "I know you're there," "I see you," etc of stuff like this, then have that Mob walk away slowly for a chunk or 2, then let it collapse as a corpse (add corpses and limbs laying on the ground from mobs and players that it kills, more immersive if it attacks other things and they get scared too "why is that zombie running away and not attacking me?"), if it's the windigo just have it gain Speed V and run away not attacking the player but maybe an animal if there's a chance and despawn. It's not a Skinwalker but having this behavior, what's the difference? And have it be different from the "dwellers," man it climb dramatically but logically, and climb upside down too to get to the prey. Have mobs, music, wind, etc go silent as the Mob spawns. Have it do specific things for situations like players using trapdoor pitfall traps, lava, magma blocks, in stories this is an intelligent being. With this in mind, don't make it beefy that you need Sharpness V Netherite sword and a dozen swings, have it hard to kill but also an escapists at best, when it dies have it's own soul leave and curse the player for awhile, and have it disappear or posses mobs nearby, you'll know if it's possessed if it acts strange and it's eyes on inverted (aka normal and not cross-eyed). Also have it wound and mess with the player, if the player dies early what's the mod good for? Other than be another unkillable one hit "dweller." I know this will be hard work, but once done, but once done, it won't be any "dweller," it WON'T be a "dweller." Take inspiration from the guy who made The ManBear mod, inelegant stalker which copies your voice. And oh boy in stalk mode have it have glowing glaring eyes sometimes. Take inspiration from Do You Copy? It may be a goatman game but it's still similar like a Skinwalker. Have it also be 4 legged sometimes, and sometimes turn into a deer (add deer mobs with the mod too for extra spice). And for the sake of scares, have it use it's legs more, biological anatomy more, or it will just look like another "dweller." With that, if you want heart pounding music, take note of TheAbominationThing mod, you'll like it. Have all this, make it subtle enough that it builds off of each other, have it stalk in caves if the player lives down there but less often but also dangerous, and you got one spook fest, a real spook fest HeHeHeHe.

What’s strange about the Wendigo is that depictions of it were seen throughout Native American culture, even if they were hundreds of miles away. That’s what makes the Wendigo so eerie.

I'm a big believer of cryptids, however I'm also a big enthusiast of all facets of biology, anthropology included. It's likely that the wendigo "myth" is an entire cultural belief, similarly to how Americans have bigfoot. An example of this in Native American culture could be the depiction of Smilodon (saber-toothed cat) in Arizonan rock art that was carbon dated to well after the cat's extinction.

From a biological standpoint, it could even be referencing what's known as wendigo disease, a disease known for giving people cannibalistic urges. Although it's most likely a cautionary tale.

I just watched entire video and it was GOOD! Animal carcasses remind me of The Rake game, and it's cool Sound design, blindness effect, and horrifying chase with breaking down watchtower! Wendigo himself is very uncanny and that staredown was INTENSE! definitely deserves part 2!

Not true, it works off of the potion effect and only spawns when the clock reaches 0. It has no chance or randomness too it.

Me watching at 2 am

I have a certain type of headset and this headset plays sound exactly where it came from so, I knew where the wendigo was the whole time. Also, the part at the igloo the villager and zombie villager were making sounds to the right and now my right ear feels a little deaf. If a mob was on the right side, I would hear it in my right ear. And I'm surprised it does it with videos too.

So there’s this new mod that lets you build tanks. I would build a very simple one in another world and copy paste it into this world with create’s schematics as soon as I have the resources.
