Yeah people don't understand, you shouldn't need a ton of power to stab someone that's why it's sharp. On the other hand (literally) you want as much strength behind the shield as possible for shoving and parries.

7:10 this was a panth bug. when rene got hit by his spear he was on 298 out of 1632 hp which is the same as 18% hp. the reasoning it didnt crit is because riot has spaghetti code and doenst count for the fact that renes hp increases when he ults and it therefore thinks that rene has has 250 hp less

I saw a lad on the last video who commented something along the lines of "You should put the reaction of the chat in some clips so that we get to see it as well." And the editor did which means he reads the comments and actually listens to them, what a chad. Keep it up king 👑

Thats what Azir used to be. Amazing early game (now gutted due to insane mana nerfs), shit mid game (you dont really do much damage at 2 items unless you got really ahead in the early game) and a godlike late game.

Kayle's kinda like that. One of the strongest level ones in the entire game, then barring achieved advantages making 2, 3, and sometimes even 4 good that particular game, unplayable until 6 at which point she can poke but not really do much else unless the opponent is quite low or whatnot, and dogshit weak until level 11, when she can actually beat people again if she has her passive stacked, and then becomes a monster at 16. Speaking as a Kayle OTP.

For what it’s worth: Pantheon isn’t left handed. Right handed shield fighting was a technique used by some gladiators and fighters/soldiers etc as it was an advanced tactic that would throw off an opponent as they would be trained at fighting people with a shield in the left hand. It was a skill that took a lot of time to master, a reflection of Atreus/Panths willpower and never give up lore aspect.

As a bit of Trivia, it's common for warrior to use the shield on the dominant hand and weapon on the other than otherwise. So Pantheon actually is right handed but shield takes priority

I learned this the hard way without even knowing about spear shot. This pantheon dunks me early, I outscale him mid game and dunks him for a long time, then late game he 1 shots me an auto lock stun and I can’t even counter play it

At 8:10 Fiddlesticks ulted not from river but from this place in jungle you pointed at. If you use his ultimate half way into wall, game just teleport you all the way into lane. Thats some Fiddlesticks tricks right here

I think the main reasom pantheons scaling is so weird is mostly the fact nasus shares with him. His abilities scale not that good with lvls but more with items but instead have strong early value. Nasus q stacks only seem godly in mid to earl late game as his q value seems one item spike higher in midgame. Pantheon has strong early game as such that he possesses good base values for his abilities but not so strong scaling into midgame unlike other champs. They simply scale harder with lvl and items together in the midgame. However as pantheon reaches the 90% armor pen he gets more value out of his kit and simply outscales by the fact that little to none can counter his semi-true dmg.

I can surmise that once players are finishing one item it's already the time where most champs can push as easily as Panth; and now they can actually spend some amount of time (insta~ clear) out of lane to make it unlikely he can find the 1v1 fights as commonly. Which he's obviously far better in a 1v1 when you can nearly guarantee dodge _all_ damage for a moment (instead of maybe half with the 50% radial coverage) and his crits and cc is just _way better_ when you can't be interrupted by other champs. He's plausibly like an assassin with an all-damage, all-1v1 kit and mediocre escape tools. In the later game you can abuse ability haste hard with his basic power moves, as well as more powerfully and repeatedly impart splitpush threats.

One caveat. Due to his solid early he is perfectly capable of getting ahead and you can get a glimpse of his mad lategame during midgame. Not rarely Panth takes over midgame due to his snowballing.

This usually gives you the second you need to pop R and they have like half a second to react once they actually step in the bush. If they dont have a hard stun you’re out scott free

I remember old Pantheon before the rework and it was always said his best part is the midgame, but that was never true and the stats also didn't support that. On lane he was useless into Second Wind + Boneplating, and Cloth + 5 pots was the norm against him just to make him useless. That's also when the new norm was to max E over max Q since it was able to waveclear and actually deal with some of these champions. But the moment you hit 20 minutes his winrate dropped from ~55% down to 42%. And that stayed the same until you reached 35-40 minutes, where it went back up to 54-56% again. Nowadays its for a bit of a different reason, the armor pen on his Ult is insane, but the ability to pick off someone out of place and sending them on a 2 minute death timer is pretty much GG.

The power of Pantheon support is your midgame extends until basically the end of a normal game. Still one of my picks, if I get an ADC or Jungle with a brain I can generally get them ahead with a mix of PTA and umbral rush; then just focus on peel and map control after. Cleaver generally acts as a mythic unless the games really stretch, and I can afford one (or I'm solo AD somehow). The pen instant proc from hop on top of PTA lets ADC or whoever blowup everyone. I'm not challenger, but I win Diamond games, so I'm content.

Actually Pantheon is not left handed he is just holding his weapons like the standard ancient Greek phalanx formation where each soldier held the shield with the right hand (which is usually the dominant hand in most people) so they can protect themselfs but also the soldier on their right in order for the phalanx to be formed.Also through practice these soldiers knew how to thrust their spears with their left hand. So panth is not exactly left handed he is just following the standards

Ive began rushing tiamat on panth with teleport for wave clear. Tiamat first hopefully but dirk is good when gold is low. But tiamat then dirk then eclipse and berzerkers. After eclipse black cleaver. Third or second item hull breaker. Don't really need to upgrade tiamat till towards end but it happens sometimes. Last item deadmans. Push likeel a beast when no ones watching. Ult/tp to other side of map when needed. Tiamat helps his mid game farm as well as each landed q smacks in team fights.

I feel like there is a couple jg champs that generally fit that niche. Belveth can have great early impact, but struggles mid game until 2.5 items. Hecarim as well (depends a lot on build too)

And if his Pantheon late game doesn't seem amazing, remember, he's against Zeri and Azir, two amazing late game champions.

Mid game is rough for Pantheon because most players become cocky from the early kills that they get and if they stop feeling like a god and play with their team in late game most of the time they start winning.
