People think Devon is getting weak and not training anymore. He's just showing what it takes to be at the top while still being natural. Everyone is on rocket fuel now a days. Thanks Ryan for the content

Devon's regime breakdowns, international involvement, he is alot more than an arm wrestling scientist. The gear he can make for these exercises anyone can make or afford. He truly is an inspiration to the sport.
This is very good for Devon!!! now he can read all the expert comments about how he should train. He can stop his useless stupid training now and start to train like all the successful youtube commentators here, people who actually have achieved something !!! Amazing opportunity for him!!!

The concept devon is looking for when explaining non failure training is RPE training that powerlifters use. He does 3rm work, which isnt a REAL 3rm, but maybe an RPE 8 or 9 meaning leaving 2 to 1 reps in the tank. So this way he gets to build strength while not grinding, which allows him to train again in a short amount of time (training to failure takes longer to recover from).

Is what your describing a bit like the "grease the groove" technique. I think I heard about it from reading Pavel Tsatouline(may have butchered his name here). I am really into climbing, and I used to go and do an hour or more of different chin/pull up variations at the gym. Then I heard about this technique. Essentially I set up a pull up bar at home, and throughout the day whenever I would walk by said bar I would do 10 pull ups, which for me was not to hard, and didn't exert me maximally at all. Over the course of the day I might walk by that bar 9 or 10 times, and each time I do the same thing, but never reaching failure. The amount of time between pulls was significant, and so I was rested every time. Anyway, it worked incredibly. My climbing strength and endurance skyrocketed. Would this method of exercises be the same concept devon is using, and that you describe power lifters using?
Blue ... thank you for visiting 🇨🇦. You fit in well with your easy kind way🤙🏿

10:20 That's the same talk he had after losing to Denis in the after interview, it's risking health at his age to become the best again but in reality he doesn't need to as he's proved it over the past years.
You know he keeps all the good exercises secret.
Somehow its satisfying to watch him workout stay strong Devon!
Awesome stuff! Thanks
Another lovely video man 😘
It's a long road back to that top-end strength, but it will be worth it. Michael and Denis showed you how far you have to go. Now get there and be that guy we watched destroy from 2008-2011!

Work smarter not harder. Good stuff. I noticed the keyboard too, does you or your family (Devon) play?
interesting how devon and todd have different opinion on armwrestling, devon is most about hand and todd is all about arm power and side pressure for me it's more about hand, cause mostly when i can't gain access to my power i will lose and can't even pull... also backpressure helps
I have to say, improving overall health absolutely has to only be good good for ones arm wrestling ability. Oleg isn't the best because he has big compound lift numbers.. however, imagine how he'd improve if he did increase his strength and muscle mass in the larger groups. Of course this simultaneously increases body weight, which is a scary prospect for combat athletes who weigh in and want to face the lightest competition possible. I say get bigger legs, get heavier, face heavier opponents.
Devon Larratt 💯💪
I still think Larratt should improve his general strength, because at the highest level and against an ever improving competition, every little step forward can make a difference.
@douglaswalston3137

It still all starts with rising, cup, pronating and supination. If you don’t have those adding general strength like back, shoulder, peck, whatever aren’t gonna matter because if you understand physics and how you grip up. You understand what Devin has said before it’s about connecting as a unit to your arm and hand. From your hand to your feet. He’s just giving us really part in my opinion. I don’t believe it’s the whole no matter what, because he’s preached it’s how tight you can get. He knows that means strength in everywhere that connects from hand to feet. Just like a boxer to punch hard. It comes from feet to hips to back to shoulder to arm through into the hand. Same concept but in reverse like a reverse punch. It’s a pull of a punch. Get it? Soon I’m starting content on this exact sweet science that’s much more in depth. No disrespect. This isn’t my opinion but I’m about to find out if I’m right. And by all accounts I believe I can’t be wrong. I’ve listened to hours and hours of Devin talking other guys arm wrestling watched all the videos. And now I’ll take my opinions and practice them to prove to myself that I’m right. Again no disrespect.
I HAVE MASS RESPECT FOR DEVON NOT COS HE DONT RELIABLE ON DRUGS AND TRAIN NATURALLY BUT ALSO HE DOESNT GAVE UP ON WHAT HE LOVE NO MATTER THOSE DRUG-MEATHEAD WIN HIM .

Devon is the best of the word!
I love that Toddzilla thinks virtually oppositely to Devon here. Devon: rising, cupping, pronation, supination. Todd: side pressure, back pressure, arm strength.
