The amulets you buy at the amulet market The man is Thao Wessuwan, a demon god who has the power to protect. Plays the role of ruling over unruly demons. Have financial power Because he is the keeper of the treasures of the land. He is the great god of wealth. A woman is Nang Kwak, the goddess of good fortune according to Thai folklore. It is considered a kind of magical item. It has the appearance of a sacred image made of a woman wearing traditional Thai clothing and jewelry, sitting with her legs crossed.

If your amulet has a turtle image, it means It is an amulet that brings good luck, a calm mind, firmness, and patience. The image of a giant in the amulet means that he will protect you from all dangers and evil. Because giants in Buddhism are those who block the gates of hell, the human world, and heaven. The last one is the Nang Kwak amulet. It's a picture of a woman waving her hand. The meaning is luck, wealth, doing things will be successful.

Most tourists always say the food is so cheap...but they forget the reality, millions of Thais still live on minimum wage and that's $10 for 8 hours of work. For them it's not cheap at all and Thailand has had an inflation in food and groceries of around 100% in the last 3 years...the daily minimum wage is now to be increased to $12...which is still little...but how It doesn't affect the rich everywhere...

We are aware of this issue. We avoid using the word “cheap” for that reason along with the word “cheap” making something sound low quality. You’ll find us instead staying things like “affordable”, “doable”, & and even more specific “affordable for us”. We recognize our immense privilege and hold the people, cultures, & communities we visit in high regard. We do our best to showcase the history, culture, and fun things a place has to offer. Many Thai people enjoy our videos along with those around the world. Thank you for being here. 🧡
