I grew up with parents who listened to songs from the 80s and 90s. I have these hits on my ears. Thanks also to Sam Houser for GTA Vice City and the selection of 80s radio. This is what gave me good taste in music. The Weeknd's success is inevitable.

This guy deserves all success he has!! What an artist ! Saw him live, for the 1st time ever, in Barcelona. 10 days ago. What an experience; what a show!!!! Yeah The Weeknd is sounding like he's bringing back 80's music through his music, same here the song is taking my breathe away.

When this came out I was homeless, on drugs, and then jail. I now have a house, job, and husband. This song and “Clover Cage - The Chess Piece” are the two songs that helped get rid of my depression. I just want to send love to everyone and I want everyone to know things will get better. We are in this together..I love you ❤️

Found the song today and started walking and dancing for 30 min on replay. Banger!!! Love it

Seems like we will be hearing The Weeknd on the radio for another few months (at least) :)

You assumed this maily because this sound has been around for maybe 30 years and Abel and his camp have been picking up pieces and bits from different sources; you have here, clearly, like 10 music influences, from Giorgio Moroder, Bronski Beat all the way to The Midnight, a more contemporary sound.
