Dothraki cant reach a drawf from up on there horses, but a drawrf can and will punch a horse in the balls to get at its rider
I can only image that Torvad was already expecting his mother in-law trying to stab him, and so he was wearing a chain mail under his wedding suit or something like that

@@Somewhat-Evil In The Weekly Roll, Heavy armor is standard Dwarvern attire... Mostly because of the local gremlin population.

@@Somewhat-Evil gotta say, armor tuxedos are pretty god damn expensive... which makes sense if you ask me, gotta make the most bang for your buck... or i guess the most ching for your clang? nah that doesnt sound right...
Honestly pretty accurate description of dwarf culture, you try asking the dm to change the dwarvin smith's retail price on a new sword, I guarantee you that will somehow end paying it full or his bar tab.

Getting stabbed during your wedding, didn't think that Torvald could be more relatable
I like how everyone is in armor and has that armor covering their beard as well

I’m with Bukett here. WHAT? We can’t wait for weeks for the next one after dropping all these bombshells
I know the “bitchy mother-in-law” trope has been done to death, but I love this twist on it with Torvald casually mentioning “Oh, right, my mother-in-law tried to murder me, no big deal”.
Oh this is gonna be great. Now it all makes sense on how he is a Prince and had a bounty for Tax Fraud. Curious how the Crown Princess met and chose to marry him. I swear if it’s simple as there was no other good options, Ima cry my beard off.

Torvald later goes on to flip the bird to the queen. In her throne room no less!
Very nice zoom for scale. On that bit.
i will say, i think i viable reason why she doesnt like him is because she may had someone already set up for her daughter, buttorvalds family are undertakers and necromancers, and if we remember what Torvalds family are necromancers and undertakers, who also uses their dead for labour; are considered burakuman (which means tainted by dead/impure).
No dwarven wedding is complete without at least two stabbing incidents.
Huh torvor at a wedding and nearly being stabbed by the queen? I can actually see that but I wonder if they meet the family would they also be necromancers or a mix

Quite fitting, actually. They cover themselves in the sun but don’t always bother to take the covers off. (But maybe in this case they always have it on.) And they both definitely magic and zombies, but sunless sea has a better zombies, I think.
