1992 in Texas. Last week of January hit 80 for high temps. For the next 10 months. It was hot with many of those months the low temp of the day never got below 85. 2006 was very much like this as well. It was one of the hottest summers in North Texas. This year in North Texas is actually really nice.

Words do not do it juctice, but the pink light reflecting off the clouds in such a perfect way made it look straight out of fiction. There were also puffy clouds and a stringy cloud right next to it.

I am really worried about weather now. Not in the sense that I am fearing for my life everyday, but when bad weather is forecasted now, I really expect the worse and hope for the best because the past 2 years weather has been awful imo. Yes weather has been happening forever but recently it just seems to be worse. Literally every time it rains now, there is a bunch of wind or something else with it. Then it doesn't rain for like 2 weeks, but when it does again, it's just bad weather. Not to mention, tornadoe watches and warnings in kentucky have been a lot more common. This isn't just KY though, it's everywhere somewhat. All types of weather are just getting bad.

I remember so many people back in January and February say they can't wait until summertime. Now those same people are complaining about the heat 😂 🤣🤣🤣. I myself cannot stand the summer. You can't do anything in this heat. Power bills are insane and if you do go outside, you really have to be extremely careful. The heat is responsible for more fatalities than the cold. During winter, you can simply add more layers. But during summer, you are sol.

@@Shiryone compared to what the technology to measure weather to the precision we have today is like 3 decades old max. These records are like 200 years old max with most of that measured using rudimentary technology. Do you know how they used to measure the temperature of sea water pre satellites, get a bucket dunk it in the ocean and stick a thermometer in it, the buckets were wood, leather, cloth, steel, tin, no one thought of the insulation properties and ambient temperature of the bucket and it's effects on the results. My point being it's hard to take this as truly unprecedented, it's just not been documented by "modern Technology". And the population is like 8 billion people if the breeze blows the wrong way statistically x amount of people will die as a direct result. Moral of the story is chill... Weather happens.

In my years on this rock floating in space a few things I've noticed. In the spring it rains a lot and there's a lot of bad storms, in the summer it's hot usually very hot, when fall starts to roll in we get usually get hurricanes (little earlier now) and in the winter it's cold and usually wet from snow and rain. Pretty much it. Sometimes that changes but it usually follows that template

@@James-mm6jh HAHAHA. Exactly. I lived there and worked there for 4.5 years....I look back on that time and think "What was I wasting my time for?" Tulsa really isn't anything to brag about. A lot of good people there, of course, and there is good money to be made there....but....landscape and weather is sort of on the low end of desirable...Its not a place you move to unless you have an opportunity, military stationing, or family there. All the new homes from North Tulsa to Skiatook are cookie cutter, and poorly built. Its just not worth it

Oh yay fer joy. More rain coming our way. Yeah, the water is getting kind of low in our basements - need more of it to keep the fish going. And it sure was nice to have the National Guard come help sandbag the entire town. Oh!!! Lest I forgot. The Governor declared our town a disaster. I never knew mold could come in so many different colors. All I need are some strobe lights and illicit medicines and it's the 1960's all over again.
