Fun fact, for college one home work I did was finding out how players classified genshin character usage. Hu Tao was the outlier in all metrics. DPS with highest HP but lowest attack. Supports would usually have those stats. Confused me a bit until someone told me : she HP scales her dmg.

Finding it ironic that Charlotte has one of the lowest base attacks when her burst healing is based off attack

all of her damage comes from her low hp, so you just have to focus on getting her like 50k hp and keeping her at like 2k

thats if you have c1 or above along with staff of homa, if you dont have c1 or SOH, it better to build her with 31k hp or higher (around 35k) with 1.5k atk or above (around 2k since its achievable) i've mained hu tao for only 1 year so im speaking from my experience

C6 hu tao haver here. just use crimson witch with a hp%/EM sands, pyro dmg goblet and crit rate/crit dmg circlet. you just need to stay below 50% hp. so if u gptb30k, then 15k will activate the dmg buffs

Sucrose has low base attack cause her EM caries her HARD with her swirls (doing a pyro swirl with a dendro elemental reaction ready on the enemies does INSANE damage, Burning Swirl teams ftw)

but remember that hu tao's skill damage multiplier is like one of the highest in the entire game, so it buffs her damage A LOT

Well, the multiplier alone doesn't do anything, it's her hp conversion to atk that does the trick, since she gains attack based on her total hp when she uses her skill, and THEN you look at the multiplier

Highest ATK should be c6 Noelle with Whiteblind R5 she can reach 5k+ ATK with normal build (MH set with Furina, Geo goblet and CD circlet) and 7k+ with DEF goblet and circlet, 10k+ with buffs.

Again, with that logic, even someone who scales a lot of atk, despite not being an on-field DPS, can be really strong than a Neuvillette. What i mean by this is that it should be called the character with the lowest base atk, not the weakest character. Weak or strong aren't solely based on base atk. Those are just numbers. Titling it this would also cause confusion for players who think it will be based on lore, not gameplay.

So comments not understanding "weakest" in terms of base attack not actual gameplay. We cant put links in yourube anymore, so google "genshin character comparison" click the wiki and youll see a full chart. You can also google "genshin normal attack scaling" to see where your favs rank by class. Keep in mind for many characters this will only be phys dmg and doesnt account for any elemental infusion, but its a good way to understand where your numbers are coming from. Characters can use a variety of other factors aside from flat atk like hp, em, atk%, phys,element% etc. you get it. And thats before we even look at crit rate crit dmg. Thats why getting good sub stats for artifacts is just as important as mainstat.

Doesn't like fighting =/= can't fight. In her lore it's stated that she likes to hang out at one of the most dangerous places in Liyue, meaning she can take care of herself. In her demo she fought fatui soldiers because she had to and even she didn't want do fight them but had to make them leave her.

That's neat. I guess it makes sense with how she gets a ton of ATK from HP.

Hu Tao makes up for it in her HP stat. I think she has the 2nd most base HP in the whole game

@@Chikayuki I have tried some catalysts and for me the Favonius Codex works well, better than others. So you're right! My Charlotte has between 220-240 ER so I can play her without another cryo and she fills up her ult quickly enough. 80 elemental energy is already a lot to fill.🥲

The real question is when do old character get a buff ? Like, arleccino is litterally a better hu tao and thats all, making hu tao a bad character when she was a very good character before. This just makes the game unfair. Why level up a character if a new one is creeping it ? Especially when you play by the characters you line and not the meta. Genshin dropped me when i got to the end game, you need to farm to play end game and its just not fun when you dont want to play genshin all day or dont want to do events that bore you. I swear its getting worse with each new characters. Look at keqing, she got creeped by so much characters. Diluc too. A 5* should be as good as any other 5*. I understand they need to sell the characters but they need to do that using mechanics, personalities, designs and not sheer powerlevel

Her skill gives her the attack basically. At lvl90 most hu taos have around 1k attack (still very low, most other dps between 1.9-2.3k). But once you use her skill, a 28k HP hu tao gets her to over 3k attack Something similar happens with noelle, a C6 noelle with ~3k defense will have a ton of atk once she uses her burst (ive seen insane noelles with 6k atk before)

Sucrose being the third weakest: 😶 Sucrose also being the best f2p replacement for Kazuha and Spiral Abyss: 😶

Hu Tao having the lowest base attack is genuinely flabbergasting Fun Fact: As you know Hu Tao is HP scaling! She converts HP into attack more efficiently than just getting ATK%, but this conversion is limited by her base Attack. Most players won’t reach that cap unless they’re trying really hard but it’s probably why her base attack is so low and why her weapon’s base attack is so high!

Cyno being the most regretted character had not much with his damage itself, which isnt really that bad at all, but instead had to do with scarab collecting which made a scarab shortage in every player's world

Hu Tao's damage is definitely Emotional because cost us our life money just to get her C6'd and a R5 Homa

It's still weird to me that Hu Tao has the lowest base atk in the game with being 1 of the top strongest dps.

I’d say theres good chances it’s Nahida, as during the Archon she tells us how we will have to fight for her, as she is too weak. Thats on physical strength though. I do think Baizhu would be the weakest as he is sickly.

Canonically it's also Hu Tao, ironically. She's the weakest vision bearer in the lore so far, mostly because she isn't much of a fighter in the first place Though in physical strength it's obviously Yaoyao (she can't handle the weight of her polearm even though she has a smaller one)

Nowadays Itto is VERY CLOSELY followed up by Chiori, but Itto always had a contender...Qiqi. She's surprisingly tanky! Also, Hu Tao for some reason has a lot of defense too...

My hu tao chillin with 3k atk 84/230 cr/cd

The reason is she scales with hp, and if she has high attack she would be too powerful.

let's ignore that gorou scales off def, hu tao hp, barbara has some insane multipliers and sucrose uses EM and yes call them the weakest. I believe if someone wants to do a top 5 weakest character they should analyze more than base atk, i mean just saying a character's whole kit exists for a reason 😀

not really, in her trailer we see her defeating a whole bunch of fatui agents by herself, and we know she has a bit of spear/polearm training. i'd say shes not strong (just a regular human) but i wouldnt say shes "really weak". her low atk is to balance out her huge buff when her HP is below 50%

I think it's to balance her and I think she heals enough already. My level 70 Charlotte lv80 fav codex bad artifact heals enough for Furina so I geuss it's fine.

1) Because she'd be too powerful 2) because that way her multipliers are tuned for a low atk so you can give her a lv90 weapon, lv20 feather, a bunch of atk% and suddenly she has a pretty high attack and heals a lot

Barbara great early game she has fine damage and strong healing she can solo the early game by herself but get world lvl like 3 and now she only tickle the enemy.
