It is very hard not to be moved by this song. It is so incredibly poignant and is really a vivid reminder of where we all will be going one day. I have no doubt that I will see my famly and animals again on the other side.

I cried performing this for the first time a few months ago 😭

words cant describe how i feel about this arrangement. We're singing it in our choir and I can usually get through it all without cracking, but at home when I'm singing my part I just burst into tears

I sang this for choir as a soprano in a contest for the state and we had someone play the violin as well. Got the highest score and we were the best choir that was ever at that school. We were all only 13-14 year olds too.

This song makes me wanna cry tears of joy and pain.

My choir is singing this combined with my district's high school choir (im in a middle school choir) and my favorite part is definitely "I'm going there to see/meet my mother/loved ones." I dont know what about it.. maybe the note that are sung.. or the notes that are played by the piano.. maybe it's both?.. but it just sound so pure and loving to me.. like the stranger really cares about their mother and other loved ones. I also really love the Interlude part of this song. I just love the notes of it on the piano. Also I love the last two "I'm going" of the song. This song is just so great.
