See the 11 kms exciting rough road- A detailed video on the way to Kaparkan Falls.From Bangued, Abra,at their tourism office located at the compound of DPWH.Book your trip early by calling their tourism coordinator Ms. Dyane Molina at 0927-7725-856.3 6x6 trucks are available ,each can contain 35 tourists leaving 7 am to 8 am in the morning.For unbooked or walk in tourist they may provide you with a 25 sitters 4x4 jeepney,at least there are 2 of them(green and red).I advise you to ride on the truck, e.i. if you can reserve early.We opted to ride on the jeepney coz we were just walk in tourists without any reservation but arranged our trip on site a day before going.Round trip fee from Bangued to the car park of the falls (36 kms,of which 11 kms are rough -travel time 3-4 hrs) 850 pesos inclusive of the fare,environmental fee and tour guide.Even if you are booked be prepared that your trip be canceled or postponed because of the non forgiving heavy rains etc.At the parking area you have to trek for about 15 minutes in a nice trail way.But be prepared to be wet with rain,so put your gadget in a water sealed container.Bring with you drinking water,food for lunch and a set of extra clothings.There is an eating area several meters from the falls.Each batch of tourists is only allowed to stay for 2 hrs,maybe for environmental concerns and safety.So maximize your time because the falls is so huge,500 meters by 80 meters and the 2 hour limit is not enough to have a nice shots on all aspects of the falls.Ber months are the ideal time to visit the place (rainy days) for the falls to have plenty of water.Hotel Accommodations are plenty in Bangued but the cheapest aircon is the Adtempco Coop Hotel,room rates starts at 900 pesos plus 150 per extra head for their twin room,free wifi and free use of their kitchen.NB-This video has no background music and minimally edited for you to appreciate the sound of car engine and the falls

for sure philippines' drivers know about offroading, and their jeepneys are so amazing, at the beginning it was a jeep !!!

wow, parang grabe pinagdaanan mo pero napakasarap ng feeling when you get there in kaparkan falls.
Thanks for your video of the actual jeepney travel. It's very helpful in deciding weather to proceed to Kaparkan or not. I hope the government will prioritize improving the road condition.

thanks,actually kahit ganun ang daan wala naman matataas na bangin kay safe parin.
That jeepney puts to shame so many of the current 4x4s with the fancy gadgets.
Dahil sa galing ng driver noting jeep ,subscribe na kita...ingat namang driver...

napakaganda ng byahe, sa dulo pala ay paraiso ang nag iintay sayo.
Sure a very adventurous drive n a beautiful destination finally... On the safety aspect it is important to know there Could be Flash Floods, whether some department (Forest or Tourism) monitors that and confirms this beauriful place as SAFE. Such sites do have flash floods accidents if not aware.
This is an amazing advenure

SUPEEEEER GAMDAHHHH !!!' I celebrated one of my birthdays at the Niagara Falls, border of USA and Canada. But I WILL HAVE MORE THRILLS TO SEE THIS ONE. NIAGARA FALLS IS ONLY AROUND MAYBE 200 meters wide,,but taller.
better to keep it wild.. constructing the road will only commercialize the wilderness of that area.. and eventually leads to destruction of it's natural beauty.. hayaan lang ganyan to add to the excitement.. near the falls, better to encourage hiking to keep the falls fresh and no man made structures ;)

Parang Minalungao dito sa Nueva Ecija. Mahirap din daan dati. Nung nasemento na daan. Puro man made structures na. Wala na yung pagka enchanted nya.

You are right Francis. The people who are real nature lovers will hike up to the falls. That jeepney ride is only for those who wanna be social with a post of them with the falls.

Naalala ko noong bata ako sa mindanao. From wao to cagayan de oro city ilang araw bago makarating. Daming stockan. Yong aming 3/4 four wheel drive at may cable din itinatali sa puno para hilahin yong truck. Grabe noong araw..
