"I wanted him to live my way. Now he doesn't live at all." This might be the best short I've ever seen. So well done.

Great short film, and so tragically true. Many closeted gay men are living two lives, with wives and children. However; it not only hurts the family, but in the long-run, it hurts the man trying to live two lives. it is very unfair that in the vast majority of these men's cases, family, religion, society and circumstances forced them into a traditionally straight life. A life where they could never be happy, or live-out their true selves. And once the children come along, the lies grow bigger, more often, and to more people. One day the guy wakes up to find the massive web of deceit he's woven for himself, feeling there's no way out. I know all this to be true. I lived a lie for 32 years. And even though I never cheated on my wife, I never knew the contentment, fulfillment, and happiness of being me, and knowing how to love and be loved as I was created to be, by a man side. But at 55-years-old, after 32 years of marriage, and two grown sons, I met a wonderful man who helped me see who I really was. At the time, I was in Evangelical ministry, for decades, and he was a Roman Catholic priest, of over 18 years. Subsequently, I got divorced, and he left the Church. And to say it was tough, is a massive understatement. In 2012 we got engaged to be married. At the point that I choose to be honest and open, I stopped living everyone else’s truth, and choose to live mine. It was very hard, for everyone involved, but finally I was free. And THAT, is worth, all you have to pay for that freedom. As difficult as it would be for this man to come out, in the long-run, it would be best, for him and everyone in his life. Sometimes your truth, is hard to live, but it is always better than living a lie.

@Shimon Kabili - Thank you for this very meaningful short film.... I am Indian & gay and in my late forties. I came out to my parents when they wanted me to marry a woman. They accepted me immediately though I'm not sure they entirely understood the difficulties, the sadness and worst of all the loneliness of being gay & single in India. Despite it all, I'm relieved that I'm not living a double life and a lie. Your short film reaffirmed my belief that I did the right thing years ago....

Great movie. Israeli and Mexican cast with excellent performance. A real situation. However 11:55, how stupid can you be to leave the bed to look for a guy in the streets in the middle of the night… The urges were really bad. He got lucky. Police were benevolent and helped him.

Truly I say to you, whoever hears my word (Jesus) and believes him who sent me (God) has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.John 5:24 Are people born gay? Do people choose to commit adultery/fornicate or are they born with a tendency to sin? Please think about it. Repent/believe or you will not inherit the kingdom of God. Out of love Jesus died for you, live for Him.
