Great short film, and so tragically true. Many closeted gay men are living two lives, with wives and children. However; it not only hurts the family, but in the long-run, it hurts the man trying to live two lives. it is very unfair that in the vast majority of these men's cases, family, religion, society and circumstances forced them into a traditionally straight life. A life where they could never be happy, or live-out their true selves. And once the children come along, the lies grow bigger, more often, and to more people. One day the guy wakes up to find the massive web of deceit he's woven for himself, feeling there's no way out. I know all this to be true. I lived a lie for 32 years. And even though I never cheated on my wife, I never knew the contentment, fulfillment, and happiness of being me, and knowing how to love and be loved as I was created to be, by a man side. But at 55-years-old, after 32 years of marriage, and two grown sons, I met a wonderful man who helped me see who I really was. At the time, I was in Evangelical ministry, for decades, and he was a Roman Catholic priest, of over 18 years. Subsequently, I got divorced, and he left the Church. And to say it was tough, is a massive understatement. In 2012 we got engaged to be married. At the point that I choose to be honest and open, I stopped living everyone else’s truth, and choose to live mine. It was very hard, for everyone involved, but finally I was free. And THAT, is worth, all you have to pay for that freedom. As difficult as it would be for this man to come out, in the long-run, it would be best, for him and everyone in his life. Sometimes your truth, is hard to live, but it is always better than living a lie.
"I wanted him to live my way. Now he doesn't live at all." This might be the best short I've ever seen. So well done.
Wow, it's so tragic for everyone in this story. I want to know the real story this was based from. I hope they all come out happy and at peace. Wow, powerful dramatic short! 👏
Excellent and unexpected film. It never ceases to amaze me how people use religion as a basis for hate.
😢😢😢😢the conversation grandpa gave was soo painful. He's not living ma way nor other ways 😭😭😭 they need to be loved and accepted. No one has right to judge them.
Beach scene was soo romantic
Extremely well done; the policeman was compassionate, but Ryan's life will always have a double torture. I hope he has learned...... "what you are doing."
My fear was so high if they get caught 🫣
Very touching story, special the scene in the car, i dont pity the main character though he made all his choices like many people i know, but im glad he found his way in the end*
This is based on TRUE EVENTS.... people comment, ''touching, well done...'! It is anti-human... If gays are treated like this in Mehico... I never knew this... Well to hell with Mehico!!!

Great movie. Israeli and Mexican cast with excellent performance. A real situation. However
Bisexual or Gay living in the closet is no way to live.
The argentinian guy is really beautiful. Whats his name?
