I think this author perpetuates the falsehoods of the "Spanish Black Legend" (= basically it is protestant propaganda). I think they should learn more Spanish, and read Spanish historians (e.g. Elvira Roca Barea, Pedro Insua), full stop.

My Auntie was born and raised Catholic. She was an amazing, spiritual, inspiring person. I remember she prayed the Rosary often. She was a member of organized religion. She was a wonderful example of all that can be beautiful in walking a path of faith. She never preached, never said other divine paths were wrong, she loved everyone and it showed in her actions. I think she would have liked this book. I walk a different path than hers and I know she was proud of me for finding my own way. I am going to read this book. Thank you for your review.

I picked up this book after hearing you mention it in an Esoteric News video. By coincidence, I had a rosary tucked in a drawer which I picked up because the crucifix was recommended as a diagnostic tool in a reiki apprenticeship I'm going through. The Way of the Rose made it sound so accessible, "doesn't matter how you do it, just pray every day," I actually started a daily prayer practice. Then a couple days ago towards the end of my prayers, i got to a really smiley, happy place that reminded me of a state I reached when i had a consistent meditation practice. I loved the distinction they made between meditation as a masculine practice descended from hunting in still silence while the rosary is more feminine with talking and gathering forage. The action and tactility work way better with my ADHD brain, and i look forward to see where the practice takes me. I still need to work through the heretic's rosary you shared, if i can ever convince myself to commit to a week of effort again 😅

This is really fascinating. I come from a Catholic background, and I find the practice of the Rosary attractive on one hand, but repulsive on the other - because of the Catholic Church's inherent misoginy. You did a vide a while ago in which you hinted that you were writing something about the Rosary, I'm glad that you did! Both this book and your pamphlet are on my list now.

I recently have started praying the rosary daily following the suicide of my mother. I was raised Catholic, so despite not going to a Catholic church anymore (though I do go to a "stuffy" Episcopal church regularly and love it!) I think I was drawn to the comfort of the Divine Feminine. Boy howdy. The rosary is hands down the most powerful spiritual practice I have encountered. It makes things happen, whether you are looking for results or not. Signal graces/synchronicities become matter of course and you just know inherently that you are loved and protected. This book is good. I like that they are reclaiming the rosary, though I have to be honest and say that I'm very skeptical that the husband regularly sees a Marian apparition. Regardless, it's just another coincidence that you have had no videos on the rosary until I just started devoting myself to it. I love your videos, and I just got the Heretic's Rosary from Amazon and look forward to reading it. I'm wondering if you'll do a video about your rosary experiences? Would absolutely eat that up.

I've read the book as well right after he released the video, and just like yourself, I am also VERY skeptical about the Marian apparitions. Also the fact that he intersected Mother Nature with Mary was quite weird to me... Next , I think I will also read Waking up to the dark just to dig a bit more about that theory. Interesting fact: after finishing the book, I've also stumbled upon Tammy Peterson's (Jordan Peterson's wife) experience praying the rosary. Amazing really.

Someone recommended me this book a few years back. It had radically transformed that person for the better I’d say. Recently this book and the practice of the rosary in general has been on my mind- a wonderful synchronicity that you posted this. I think I’m finally at the place where I can part with my religious baggage and use the rosary as a tool without seeing it as strictly Catholic, I recently purchased your ebook on the heretical rosary, and I think with that text and this one, I can create a practice that makes sense for me. Thank you Dennis🙏

I pray the rosary every night as a member of the “stuffy old religion.” Catholics, ironically, are the ones who are bible bashed. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard the rosary is not biblical. The cover is beautiful though. I’ll charitably say I’m not the target audience for this. Nonetheless a nice video as always.

Wow....I'll definitely give this a go....I left the CofE a very long time ago, but my first experience of religion was in a high Anglican church; more recently I felt drawn to rosary beads but couldn't think why; other than my adored RWS tarot deck was created by a Catholic and a later convert.

I'm so glad you enjoyed, I'm re-reading this at the moment! I got a lot out of it. Several WOTR circles run around the world/online for saying the rosary in community, and they are seeded and run by the community; I respect that they model what they write about i.e. non-hierarchical spiritual experiences.

Maître Poisson: I enjoyed the review, but it was a bit disappointing to hear you give such short shrift to "stuffy old organized religion". I have been a member of the Zen Buddhist clergy for the past forty-two years but was raised Roman Catholic. One of the unlooked-for blossomings of my Buddhist life was the discovery of the spiritual treasure kept in the lumber-room of the Roman Church. Yes, a certain amount of dogged searching among the cobwebs and dust-bunnies is typically necessary in order to find the treasure, but I have found it can be very encouraging to others to remind them that the treasure does exist. À mon avis, quoi...🙇🏻‍♂️

I'm all about the divine feminine in all its forms but i do not believe "Mary" would be the Christian version or equivalent. That i believe is what Christianity calls "the holy spirit" which (in my opinion) was stripped of its feminine aspects when part of the trinity.. its not "father, son and Mary " its the father *divine masculine + the divine feminine produce "the child" *. All creation comes about in this manner.. just my personal thoughts

@4everseekingwisdom690 Wouldn't it be like a phenomenon of fumigations or blessed water? Buddhists have Mala Beads and water and Sake can be blessed by Deivas. Use of different fumigations during ceremonies is also an important element. Yet, they have different roots.
