Want to note how the crown was almost just free energy every turn, the only card rewards in pvp is after winning/losing a fight so it isn't as bad as in the actual game

i actually found that one of the STRONGEST watcher decks is actually... MARK! my friend got THREE artifact and i STILL beat him.

The main reason mark isn't viewed as good is because fights don't last long enough for it to properly scale, but with the absurd health people get in the final bits it gives mark time to scale

That and watcher has so much burst damage scaling damage isn't that important usually

@@Corundrom a few benefits and reasons why mark is better here! 1. No AOE fights. Mark is bad because building a deck around it will get you to die in aoe fights like slavers. 2. Mark scales FAST. If you have just 3 upgraded ones then you're already doing 11, 22, and 33, then 44 and so on. 3. Won't be affected by any thorns damage 4. Strength and weakness Won't stop it So overall Pressure points is actually very powerful in these fights. Normally watcher doesn't need much for scaling with the aburd damage she already has. But in these fights scaling matters a lot more when your opponents get up to 300 health. And well.. 1 energy deal 55 is pretty strong mid fight. Just get a couple energy and draw cards and it's an easy victory, but there are a few counters! Pellets and artifact.

​@@bluefiremarkiiAnothed reason is it cant be blocked by... block, because you just lose the hp! So if the oponent doesnt get a source of debuff removal then they cant deal with it at all.

@@the_cool_dudz9394 it is quite the powerful tool yup. As i said earlier, my friend couldn't win despite getting three artifact still. I don't have to worry about the wrath burn nerfs because i never enter it, and i can take things such as like water for permanent block staying in calm. Very nice

I think the watcher changes and some of the infinite prevention didn’t necessarily nerf watcher in the pvp it just kept her in line with the base game in that she dominates early but can lose late due to high health and scaling

you're addicted to it, i'm addicted to it, it's a win win situation.

How OP the watcher used to be

I assume that packmaster is incompatible and would take a serious overhaul to make at all balanced, right? The base game only has 4 characters and they needed to make significant changes already.

What if you played this with relic mods ?

I'm a little confused with why busted crown is so bad if you're going to see max 4 card rewards and most will come from nilrys and shops. Does it affect the nilrys choice too?

Pretty sure yes because he's already played with a mod character. And one of the other videos had a card called Hexaghostify. He never did play it because he was worried about the game crashing but from the card name it sounded like it would transform you into Hexaghost.

5:40 *surely* crown is the pick there? You're only getting card rewards after the PvP fight, most of your cards come from shops so it's much less of a downside than usual
