Bulova's watches are deeply tied into world history. From being tested by the military under the harshest conditions and exceeding exceptions -- to getting the infamous title of "The Watch that Won The War" there aren't too many places a Bulvoa hasn't been. Today we are sitting down with three men that embody the spirit and dedication of Bulova.

The storytelling in all of these videos is next level stuff. I can just imagine Michael imagining these shots with the ISO cranked so high and adding a warm light to the subjects to evoke that vintage feel to it and capturing how stoic they can be about something they’ve put their lives on the line for this country. Impeccable cinematography, Michael, and Christian, the curator of Theo & Harris.
It would be nice if Bulova would start making watches again in the U.S.

I agree, they could sell them for double the price with "American Made" on the dial and do very well, I think.

I just buried my Grandfather. Charles Richard Funesti. He proudly served in the Korean War. He was always fascinated in military history. He only recently started to open up about his personal stories from the war. The immense pride that he has in this country is truly admirable and this short film gives me goosebumps as I think of him and all the others that fought for the USA. God Bless America.

Cheers for Charles.
Thank you, Michael and Christian. This brought a tear to my eyes. Beautiful…… a big thank you for those who served our Country!
While not an American, soldiers like these are the best a country has to offer and should be honoured. Oh, and nice watches too. .
“Few could be trusted. Bulova among them.” Huh?
As a french man, I have to admit I cried... Really powerful video !

Cheers to you my friend!!!
What a beautiful reminder of the sacrifices of heritage and honor. Well done
Thank you for this. It was wonderfully done.
Fantastic Film. another banger from T&H.
Great video! My only comment is the wording at the beginning was a bit awkward. At first read I wasn't sure if Bulova was one of the trusted ones or not.

Agree... that could use some correcting.
The importance of Bulova is recognized at the Freedom museum in Groesbeek in the Netherlands. Where one is on display from a soldier of the 82 Airborne Division who landed in the fields of Groesbeek near Nijmegen during Operation Market Garden.
Hell of a production boys. Cheers
Bulova is now a Japan company not American anymore !! in watch industry is all about appearances marketing unfortunately !!but the testimonies of that people are real they give her lives for United States and for the world and democracy I'm from Portugal and I thank you all American soldiers who fight for democracy !! thank you ,United States of America 🇵🇹👏🇺🇲

Who cares? The brand was American, and its heritage is American. Bulova would probably be dead otherwise. Just like Hamilton. And I love Hamilton. That's an American brand, regardless of its current ownership IMHO.
Your best commercial to date. We’ll done.
Amazing video ... I miss you Papa, thank you for everything.
This is incredibly moving. Happy fourth guys.
Nicely done, I enjoyed it.
incredible short. thanks guys for the morale! USA!
Great video....I mean really powerful, actually made me quite tearful. And at a time where there is so much friction and difference of opinion in the US, its good to be reminded of the fundamentals and something that we all have in common, a love for our country. One minor nick-pick, and please take this as just that: At the start of the video, where you have speech and text on the screen at the same time. Its like trying to pat your head and rub your tummy at the same time. I found myself desperately trying to read, but not miss out on what the men were saying. Anyway...really REALLY minor feedback. You guys are going from strength to strength and its great to see!
Well done guys
If accuracy is really critical to you, buy a Casio not a mechanical. But the video is still really good.
Good morning watch fam!
Cool film
Love the video.
Love the video
excellent!
Fantastic video!
You can just buy a RGM watch. It’s like the old Hamilton and Made in the USA 🇺🇸 (801 and 20 movement). The rest are assembled in America with Swiss parts. Great Watches and Made in the USA 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Awesome
WOW very interesting super kool ,1st class great info.,, AAAAAAAAAAA++++++++++++ again great video I liked it a lot ,keep up the great work.
Well done 😎🥃🏌🏽♂️🏝🇺🇸
I might or might have not bought two of the watches in this film after watching it.
[Based on the screen capture for the link] "Hey pumpkin, I can't FATHOM how you're so inexpensive compared to my other DEEP love!"
I actually wore one of these while winning WW2. 😢
Still the land of achievement and dreams.
Happy America Month

Well struck…. Ever think about doing a video of the process of making the videos
One for the American audience clearly, however the fixation with militarism and its percieved virtues is as unusual as it is fascinating from the outside 👀

Yes, the American fixation on a completely altruistic dedication to defending human dignity is puzzling, just puzzling.

@@TheoandHarris Easy now, this is a sensitive stuff - there is no reason to suspect that any of the interviewees in this film were not authentic, straight up, hard working, compassionate family men. @Percy Funman's point stands though, that this speaks only to an American market (and other comments suggest it would have more impact if Bulova were still America owned, and American made [I get that their office is still in America, still employing Americans so kudos to Citizen]). War though, is not authentic, or straight up, or compassionate like your interviewees, war is political, and KZread is global. Britain pleaded with America for support against the Nazi's but it wasn't until Japan breached your agreement with the Axis before America acted, not for human dignity. (And it only gets more complicated if we talk of Korea, Cuba, Vietnam, Central and South America, Iraq, East Africa, Afghanistan...) [For the record this stands of all 'Western' democracies] - It is a well made video, and the watches look good, presumably with Citizen movements in them, you obviously worked hard and I hope it has success.

@@TheoandHarris You should consider different perspectives, even if you initially disagree with them. There was nothing dignified about my grandfather serving in the segregated 92nd Infantry Division during the Second World War. My grandfather came back from the war a psychologically scarred man after what he endured and the things he had to do, like knife combat with a young German soldier in Italy, who called out for his mother while pulling up dirt as he died. That's what happens when each side runs out of bullets in close combat. What has changed since then for the United States and the world? What have we really learned from two incredibly brutal World Wars? And in what direction are we heading?

God forbid an American watch media company make a video about American virtues and values in celebration of an American holiday.
I've got news for you, no Rolex is worth the price.
Shame i can't buy a watch that says 'Made in USA'
Vostok won WW2 not Bulova. Also, now that citizen owns bulova, I'd say Bulova lost WW2
